Upcoming appointments? We have our 4D growth scan on Wednesday. I'm SO excited for that!
Rants/Raves/Questions? INSOMNIA! I've had it for a while, but it's really taking a toll on me. I need one FULL day of relaxation and laying around. We've been SO busy getting our house remodeled and everything ready... I need a break! Hoping in the next few weeks everything will be done with the help from my mom and we can have some down time before our son arrives.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Nothing really besides tired.
GTKY: What are you really looking forward to once your baby has arrived? I'm just so excited to start my new journey to motherhood. I can't wait to hold our son and love him and make memories with DH. Oh and get my body back. LOL

What size is baby?
The size of Gizmo - should I be worried I'm growing a gremlin? That movie gave me nightmares.
Upcoming appointments?
MRI of my knee today, then seeing the ortho surgeon Wednesday for the results - hoping for some answers!
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant - I just CANNOT with DD right now. She starts kindergarten this week and is soooo excited she is bouncing off the walls. While I'm happy to see her enthusiasm, she is DRIVING. ME. BONKERS. This is a bad time to not be drinking.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Started getting Braxton Hicks Friday ... which turned into some mild cramping because I was dehydrated. A little freaky, but I realized right away I hadn't been drinking enough water and everything went back to normal. I got this a few times with DD, but it was much later on. So everyone remember to stay hydrated!

A good bottle glass of red wine!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rants, I'm sick with a cold. As if breathing wasn't hard enough already. Raves: it's raining here so it's in the 80's instead of the 100's and I'm amazed at what a difference that makes in how I feel physically.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Vaginal pain and pressure. I feel like he is trying to dig out.

Holding my baby and seeing my fiancé with him. Sleeping on my stomach. Alcohol and spicy tuna. Maternity leave.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm officially on maternity leave which I'm so excited about, but what did I do??? Made plans for every day this week lol so much for resting. At least it's at my own pace.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I seriously hate this new aversion to textures. I've never had issues with texture before, but now anything that is soft, I can only get a couple of bites before spitting it out - UNLESS it's sweet, then give it to me all day! I'm also not liking that the baby is slowing down in kicks. I know he's running out of room but I want kicks all day every day! It's my favourite part. But it's like he can hear me when I get nervous about his lack of movement cause then he'll give me a good pow and be on our way. Lol
GTKY: What are you really looking forward to once your baby arrives? I would have to say the cuddles but I also want to agree with @ibabyloveb87 I wanna see my son with my hubby, and the cuddles they'll have and the bonding.

Getting to hold him and cuddle him! And I can't wait to see my husband as a Dad!

Upcoming appointments? meeting with diet specialist Thursday OB Tuesday and after that I'm every week for both.
Rants/Raves/Questions? well the baby has had the hiccups much and for long periods the last few days that I feel bad. Good thing they don't feel the pain we do from it.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?avoiding sugar is hard but I manage I still want Mars bars everyday

I have a head cold. That paired with pregnancy symptoms has made me incredibly whiny this week. Spent the weekend binge watching Netflix in between doses of Benedryl.

I'm less hungry but that could be because I'm sick and can't taste anything. I've also had a little bit of nausea this past week.

My first thought... I cannot wait to have an adult evening again, with friends, that involves wine. My bestie and I we talking about it today. I seriously want to talk my parents into coming down and watching all the kids while we have a fun night. They're close with my bestie and LOVE their son so I think they'd be up for it. We shall see
but of course... baby snuggles too

Upcoming appointments? I had one this morning and another on Thursday with my MFM. I did my first NST this morning and everything went well. They weren't able to get a good reading in the office so they sent me to L&D which is across the street. It was good to see where it is, since we still haven't gone in for a tour.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I live in south Louisiana and really just want the water to go down and roads to open. More roads were closed today than yesterday. Work was closed Friday and today, open tomorrow for employees only and patients can return on Wednesday. I don't have excess PTO to take to cover the days off and am just ready for things to back to normal. I really am a lucky one in all this though. We didn't get any water in our home or cars. I just hope I can find a route home from work tomorrow. The interstate is closed one way, but not the other, so I can't go and come home the same route. I ended up driving on a closed road to get home from my appointment this morning.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Vomited only once this week. Crave all the sweets since I can't have them.

I would like to rave about air conditioning, ice cream, and slushies. Basically all things cold. After working all weekend in an area of the building where the AC was broken, I just want to be in a freezer all day. And drink ice cold water. And swim in ice cold water.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Ice water. Like I said above I'm craving anything cold.
GTKY: What are you really looking forward to once your baby has arrived?
All the sleepy baby snuggles. H had to put DD to bed tonight since I had a hard time rocking her to sleep for her nap today because my belly was in the way. I know I shouldn't put her to sleep that way anymore, but it's the only time I get the snuggles. It's always been really calming to me when she'd sleep in my arms and she's going to be too big to do that before I know it. So, once this belly is out of the way, I can't wait to be able to snuggle both kids. At least until they get too be too big for it.

Upcoming appointments? tomorrow is a routine Midwife appointment and I need to find time to get my. rogham shot this week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? finally got a birth ball (skipped it last time) and omg does it hurt. It feels great but when I stand up its lightning crotch and limping for a few minutes.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? The usual nothing sounds great. I am sore and tired but not sleeping well. The reflux and nausea are picking back up again.
GTKY: What are you really looking forward to once your baby has arrived? Not being pregnant, wine and seeing DS interact with her.
