Re: Weekly Randoms/Spam 8/15/16
A very close friend of mine is getting married on new years eve. Of course we are invited. But I feel guilty not being with my DD that night. I spoke with another friend about this and she looked at me like I'm dumb. She doesn't understand why it's a big deal. But my family always celebrated NYE together and I just feel like I should be with my kid that night.
What do you think? Do you think it's a big deal?
She is 4.5 and remembers everything. I remember my family gatherings while I was her age. Again, it was always my family's tradition to be together on NYE so maybe I'm even more sensitive to it... Maybe we do the ceremony and dinner and come back. I'll be very pregnant by then, too so who knows LOL Thanks for the input!
Could you have a mini NYE party with your daughter the night before and do all of the same things you would normally do? Just brainstorming..
@stm2017
I think we have a plan
Thanks!
You could DVR the NYE festivities and celebrate it the next night with DD. Bonus being that you could start the evening a little earlier...
