What size is baby? Papaya

How are you feeling? Nervous, excited, achy

Upcoming appointments? This week's check-up is Wednesday, but nothing special

Rants/Raves/Questions: Got the car seat installed last night, so we're officially ready for LO to come home. DH is gone all this week, and likely this weekend, too, though, so baby better stay put. Not expecting an early baby anyway, between being a FTM and my own mom's history of going past-due, but still glad to be technically ready!

GTKY: (Stolen from Friday) As a kid, what snack would you find in your lunchbox that'd absolutely make your day? Generally, a Lunchable, pudding, or a dollar to go buy something from the line was a big thrill. Fruit cups, on the other hand...

How far along? 37 weeks!

What size is baby? Huge. He was 7lbs. 4oz. last week at my growth scan.

How are you feeling? SO DONE. So uncomfortable. Daily contractions that apparently do nothing and heartburn keeping me up at night hasn't been fun. I'm having some twinges in my right kidney area so I'm thinking I might be getting a kidney stone. I hope I'm wrong though. That would be my 5th stone this pregnancy. And it would be weird since they have all been on my left kidney.

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow for an NST, fluid check and office visit. Then another NST on Friday.

Rants/Raves/Questions: I think I ranted enough above lol. My only random thing would be that today was DS's first day of Kindergarten and I held back the tears! I didn't want to make him nervous with my crying so I held it together. It was also DD's first day of preschool. I'm really surprised with myself that I was able to keep the hormones in check and not be a sobbing mess!

GTKY: (Stolen from Friday) As a kid, what snack would you find in your lunchbox that'd absolutely make your day? I remember loving the pizza lunchables. There were two kinds: one where it was just the pizza part of the lunchable and another that included a drink and a mini snickers or crunch bar (which was a little more expensive so my mom wouldn't buy them all the time). I would get so excited about that little piece of candy!

@Sarafuss I def wouldn't have been able to hold it together! I'm gonna be a mess when dd goes to school, I can't imagine handling it with 2 kids at the same time and being pregnant!!

What size is baby? Cabbage Patch Doll, Papaya

How are you feeling? Like my stomach can't possibly stretch any further

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow, GBS and the start of cervical checks. For some reason that is exciting to me even though I'm guessing it'll be like last time and I'll be a pity "maybe a fingertip" until I'm induced or go into labor. I've been having bh, but they don't feel like they're doing anything, and baby still feels like she's high up.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Sick of time moving backwards even though big picture it feels like it's going quickly. Got new kitchen appliances mostly installed this weekend! Our dishwasher has bottle jets, for some reason that's pretty exciting to me.

What size is baby? Large bag of potato chips

How are you feeling? Super pregnant. I thought this was a dumb phrase before but I get it now.

Upcoming appointments? I just had a scan last week. Baby is measuring 9 days ahead and my fundal is two weeks ahead. The scan said he was not a big baby because the size of the abdomen to head, just measuring ahead. Ever since the 20 week we have slowly been measuring ahead every time, right on in the 7-12 week scans. I think baby is going to come three weeks early.

Rants/Raves/Questions: I feel like people are staring at me, I think then no I'm crazy then look in the mirror and go eh they could be.

GTKY: (Stolen from Friday) As a kid, what snack would you find in your lunchbox that'd absolutely make your day? My parents almost never packed my lunch, I just got money to buy and was always a bit jealous of other's packed lunches. When we had to have a packed lunch like for a field trip the night before my dad would take me to the store and I got to pick my lunchable which I thought was pretty awesome.

What size is baby? A bag of sugar? Or maybe that was just pregnant chicken's way of saying 5 lb.

How are you feeling? Pretty good after a fairly active weekend

Rants/Raves/Questions: A couple of nights ago I woke up twice to somewhat painful contractions, which got me all nervous. Most of my BH are painless, stomach tightenings in the middle of the night because my bladder is full. These weren't even that hurt-y, but the september announcements really plant the seed that he could come earlier than I expect!

GTKY: (Stolen from Friday) As a kid, what snack would you find in your lunchbox that'd absolutely make your day? I'm with @jhems776 in that I didn't get a packed lunch. My mom just made me a ham or pimento cheese sandwich with an apple for field trips, too. But I loved it when my best friend's mom made her gooey sugar cookies with cinnamon sugar on top, she would send an extra one for me!

What size is baby? 4.6 lbs last Friday

How are you feeling? I'm feeling good actually. Getting things done today which is really exciting

Upcoming appointments? Midwife tomorrow (I think we're starting S&S) and BPP on Friday.

Rants/Raves/Questions: I finally placed the final order for our stroller and bassinet today!!! It's taken almost 6 weeks to get it together but we're getting it all at wholesale pricing so I really can't complain that it's taken so long.

What size is baby? butternut squash/baseball glove

How are you feeling? better today, but this weekend was ROUGH! Of course it was a thousand degrees, which didn't help, and I was cramping and just generally uncomfortable.

Upcoming appointments? had one today - I'm on weekly appts now. I'm about 1.5 cm dialated, which isn't much, but I guess it's good to know the cramps/contractions I was feeling this weekend were doing something. I also have a growth u/s tomorrow to check on my fluid levels (I had low fluid with DS1 so she wants to check to make sure we're good here which is awesome because I wanted see LO again anyway!).

Rants/Raves/Questions: My sisters are coming to visit this weekend to help me finish up the nursery. I'm so pumped!

GTKY: (Stolen from Friday) As a kid, what snack would you find in your lunchbox that'd absolutely make your day? I loved when I got warm spaghetti-o's in a thermos with bread and butter on the side. It didn't happen a lot but it was awesome when it did!

How far along? 38 weeks - crunch time

What size is baby? A Winter Melon... 20 inches 6.5 lbs

How are you feeling? Still pretty good, did way too much this weekend so my back is a little sore, but aside from that - well my wedding ring still fits so that's a good sign I guess

Rants/Raves/Questions: umm sore vagina? I posed in the symptoms thread but this I didn't experience with #1 - the outside muscles of my crotch area are sore kinda like I got kicked or hit with a bat... I'm assuming it's normal but I'll ask at my Appt tomorrow.

GTKY: (Stolen from Friday) As a kid, what snack would you find in your lunchbox that'd absolutely make your day? Thanksgiving turkey leftover sandwiches. We weren't big lunch packers so I always looked forward to this one. I love a cold turkey sandwich.

What size is baby? Pineapple

How are you feeling? Extra pregnant and super ready to start maternity leave. Acid reflux in the pm no matter what I do and constant peeing keeps me up. At this point I am just accepting this is how it is.

Upcoming appointments? 36 week ultrasound, Group B Strep test next week!

Rants/Raves/Questions: Braxton Hicks are getting more intense. I had some last night that forced me to sit down and rest, that was a first. Also having trouble fitting the last of my non-maternity extra large clothing that has lasted me throughout the summer. I can't STAND maternity tops and blouses so this is a real bummer but I guess I will repeat outfits cuz IDGAF is also another condition of pregnancy lol.
