Tomorrow I have my first real appointment! I had the intake/health history appointment with a nurse 5 weeks ago.

Symptom changes?

Last week I was the sickest I have been. Felt totally horrid all week. We went camping over the weekend and it was the best I have felt in weeks! Maybe it was being outside or having a distraction, but it was great. Hoping that lasts!

Appointments this week?
Yes tmw! I'm changing practices to go to the midwifery group/birthing center that is attached to the hospital. With DS I went to the midwifery that was a freestanding birthing center. When my water broke while there, there was meconium which equated to my first ambulance ride to the hospital. I'd like to avoid that again lol.

Symptom changes?

None. Zero. Nothing. This part is lame.

Rant/Rave/Questions?

Getting back into a routine and husband back to work after 2.5 weeks of vacation fun sucks.

OH and for the first time I tried to get lo's HB on my Doppler. I couldn't get anything. Apparently it should pick up between 10-12 weeks so I'm trying not to worry. But it's hard after losses. Bleh. At least I only have to wait until tomorrow.

Born and raised in Austin Texas. Spent my summers in FL (Melbourne/Coco Beach area). While I was in the military I lived in Monterey, Ca - San Antonio, TX - Pensacola FL (where I met the hubs) then moved to Maryland in 08 and don't see us ever leaving. Though after visiting Maine for the first time I'm thinking a summer home up there would be perfect. One day lol

Appointments this week? dating US on Wednesday!

Symptom changes? Still super pukey, gaggy, etc. Exhausted, emotional, headaches, etc. etc. etc.

Rant/Rave/Questions? My sister and I are going to NYC in 16 days, and if this food aversion/constant nausea bit is still around I am going to be pissed. We have had this planned since March, and I have been so excited to go eat all the food!

I grew up in a tiny town in NW Ontario, spent a year in Kitchener, Ontario, five years in Calgary, Alberta, and am now back in NW Ontario.

Symptom changes? I'm still tired but feeling a lot better in general. I'm starting to feel a hardness and heaviness in my abdomen as if there's an actual measurable weight in there.

Rant/Rave/Questions? My MIL keeps pestering us to give up what our name picks will be and we don't even know! Not to mention, apparently she can't keep secrets considering we showed up to a funeral and everyone there knew our big news. I was only 5 weeks at the time.

GTKY: In which places have you lived (states, countries, provinces, etc.)? Just PA! I've traveled a lot but have only lived in a 1 hr radius, and that's including living at college.

Symptom changes? A little more heartburn. Also, I can't stand garlic at all.

Rant/Rave/Questions? My mom is living with us this week. It's kind of nice to be babied a little bit, but she does take it too far sometimes too. For example, she reprimands me when I workout. But she'll get me anything that I want to eat.

Appointments this week? Yes! Dating scan on Friday! I'm super nervous to see that heartbeat.

Symptom changes? Actually my body has been feeling much better, but my moodiness is out of control.

Rant/Rave/Questions? People, when you go on vacation with a family that has a baby you have to accomodate to the baby/toddlers schedule. Period. Did the baby just fall asleep for a nap? Then no, we can't go out to eat right now. Is the babys bedtime at 7:30? Then no, it's not okay to wait until 7pm to have dinner. Is the toddler only 25 pounds? Then no, you can't let your 60 pound puppy run all over the place, no matter how sad you think she looks. Is your SIL pregnant? Then no, it's not okay for your 60 pound dog to jump into the couch onto her stomach.

Rant over. I love my family. Families are hard.

Appointments this week? Yes, the worst ever.

Symptom changes? Still nauseous, tired, and have regular light cramps when I lay down.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Frustrated with my obgyn practice. Long story sort, today was a non-routine checkup. Doc walked in thinking I was there for an annual. The more we discussed the MANY calls I'd had with their nurses the last 3 weeks, the more we discovered miscommunication and misinformation that have impacted medications I've already taken while pregnant, and tests I was told were normal that were NEVER DONE. I can't even be calm or rational about it yet... and the kicker is it takes over a week to get a copy of my own medical records, and I have to pay for them. I wasn't told this when I asked about it over the phone awhile back, so now I can't get a copy before I travel- which was why I discussed it with them in the first place. I don't want my doctors and nurses to be creating massive amounts of unnecessary stress for me while I'm trying to make a human!

Tomorrow yay!!!! Ultrasound and harmony test Only another week after that till I know if it's a girl or a boy.

Symptom changes?

Oh the wonderful lack of resistance to any heat. Hate feeling faint as soon as the sun hits me.

Rant/Rave/Questions?

Moving sucks. Only two days left on island and we still aren't done packing.

Born in Germany raised there till 6 then California. Then Hawaii for school then Virginia for the navy. Then back to Cali for more school. Then another trip back to Hawaii. Now finally back to Cali for a bit but not sure where after. Thinking either Tahoe or Seattle. Wish I could convince the husband on Germany since I miss my family bunches but that's to big a change for him for now.

Since starting the b6 and unisom combo last week I've been sleeping better at night and a bit less nauseous during the day. Still having fatigue and lots of food aversions....really miss my coffee but the thought of actually drinking it makes me gag. I've been having lots of lower abdominal pain with increased walking.

Rant/Rave/Questions?

We are going to the beach with DH family next week and I'm a little worried how I'll get through the week with no wine!!!

@sunshine507 I'm sorry...that would be a huge deal for me to have an office not communicate well and know what's going on with me. Its inexcusable. Once you finally get your records, even though you can't get them for your trip, if look for a new ob.

How much do you miss blubell?

@sunshine507how frustrating!! I went to go to my new OB appointment today and thabk goodness I checked my primary care dr didn't put the referral in the system. So I stop by otw to my on bc they said they had it. I get there and they look at me like I have 4 heads. I was soooo mad but not nearly the pain you went through! Isn't it wild they make you pay for your own records? Like I hope this goes to the salary of the record person you OBV don't have on staff!

@sunshine507 and @mossn83 I want to pick yalls brains about Hawaii. We're going for the first time in a couple months. A full week on each Oahu, Kauai, and Hawaii.

While I just have to throw out I'm SUPER bummed that I can't go scuba diving. My little L.B. is worth it lol.

So I need to make up for this with the best food, hiking snorkeling and all around adventure we can possibly have! (At a active/fit 5 mo pregnant haha)

@vino831 - Diamond Head is a must. My favorite part of the trip! Also, Leonard's donuts, Mac 24/7, and Marukame Udon for food.

@vino831 there is so much to tell lol for hiking diamond head is awesome just in full sun and over 400 stairs so be prepared for that. On the north shore is Waimea falls that's an easier shady hike with swimming in a waterfall at the end. Did it last time a week after giving birth so super easy. Just bring bug replant. Shave ice and malsadas are a must for food. Also in Ala Moana mall is an amazing Japanese food court called shirokiya. For big island get the four wheel drive it's worth it and check out the south point. There are like 4 difference sand color beaches and for non pregnant a there is cliff jumping

My message was to long lol so Kauai has tons of waterfalls and get a locals trail map for them since they are in random hidden places. Also na Pali is amazing but very wet slippery red mud.

Nausea and exhaustion have been at an all time high! Ugh

Is anyone else having nightmares? My dreams are so scary and awful, always involving terrible things happening to DS, so bad I won't repeat them. It is awful. I wake up crying.
