WAYDTGKU: nothing currently except waiting for AF to leave
R/R: I know I shouldn't have had hope last cycle but then my LP got longer????? And then bam, hello AF! Also one of the more brutal periods so I hope my endometriosis isn't getting worse.
CS/Q: all of the sudden I have a 14 day LP after months of 12, make up your mind body!
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? Is it too early to say Friday???
R/R: AF is super light this time which is guess is good because I have a biopsy today at the RE. Other than that, excited to get this show on the road. This will likely be our last unmedicated cycle.
CS/Q: shoot. Must set alarm to start temping again.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? Saturday I may take DS to the Sunflower Maze - mostly because I've been wanting to go forever since they are my favorite flower but I think he will enjoy it too
@RVAmom315 we had the craziest storms this weekend! It rained a little too much but we were in need! I hope my allergies calm down now that things aren't so dry.
WAYDTGKU: nothing at the moment... debating on digging out the thermometer and trying to temp
R/R: im tentatively here on wto... DH is recovering from surgery and i was told he would be recovering for at least 8 weeks (we are wrapping up week 2 here)... but he seems to be doing ok, so we may try at least once next week, depending on how he feels. I am all over the place on this board... sometimes I think we're 12 weeks out, sometimes I think "ok we'll totally try this month!" So I apologize if it's annoying to anyone that's keeping track. I am a little obsessive and optimistic about trying at the moment, so I think I'll stick here for the meantime.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? Hmm... my life is kind of meh because I'm studying a lot right now... but I'm hoping to get a few runs in and keep up with the 8 week running plan I've been following.
@leekat14 I'm so jealous! (Of the rain not the allergies )We have had some HOT temps here and I was hoping it'd manifest into some decent storms but nope. FX for today! We haven't gotten any rain in over a week
@Marley629 This is going to sound stupid, but is that literally a maze made of sunflowers? Because that sounds awesome!
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 24
WAYDTGKU: I can't even with this today
R/R: See below
CS/Q: I have a couple of questions for you knowledgeable ladies today! The first is that I have had 3 instances this cycle of getting the same exact temp 2 days in a row. Is this really possible or is my thermometer a piece of crap? (It's a Mabis) 2. My chart https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/61a4a7 is hideous. Not at all like last month. It looks like I was getting ready to O, then didn't? I drank Friday and Saturday night and somehow got lower temps (most people seem to get higher) and now I'm getting the lowest temp I've ever gotten. If I were only checking CM, I would have thought O had happened already but my temps suck. Just goes to show how important temping is, I guess. I just really hope I end up O'ing late instead of not at all.
CD: 11 (I actually checked today before posting and remembered I can't do math, so I've been a day off lol)
WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM, temping, sex
R/R: My week at work looks insane. Last week I had nothing to do but this week I feel like all my clients required extra appointments. This seems to be how it goes. It's either really slow or really busy, no in between.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? We get chair massages at work tomorrow! That will be the best fifteen minutes of my week... Is that sad? Lol
Me: 28, DH: 28 Diagnosed with PCOS: Summer 2007 Married: July 2013 Began TTC: June 2015
R/R: I have to go back to work today. Summer break was nice, but it's over now.
I've been getting this weird rash when I eat breakfast. It started Thursday, I ate the same breakfast I've had most of the summer, spinach with a little salt and vinegar on top and some toast with almond butter. Friday and Saturday I had cereal and almond milk, and I had no rash. Sunday, I ate my leftover veggie pizza that I had Saturday night and got the rash again. Today, I had the spinach and toast breakfast and have a very minor rash. It only has happened around breakfast time and clears up within an hour or two. My husband took some pictures yesterday so I can take them with me when I can go to the doctor. Chances are, the rash will be cleared up by the time I actually get in.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? Work starts this week, but I'm looking forward to the weekend and going out of town with my husband and friends.
@hartmich Based on those temps I would say you definitely did not ovulated yet. I would say your body geared up to and then for whatever reason didn't. Keep using OPKs. Hopefully you will get a second surge that lines up with a temp spike. As far as your Mabis, they're usually pretty trustworthy but it is strange to get multiple days of the same temp. I'm not sure what's going on there.
Month/Cycle: (7/6) 2/2 TTCAL
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: Currently only BBT, OPK, Coq10, PNV, and RRLT. Eventually OPK, CM, CP, and HIO.
R/R: None. I'm hoping to go back to ovulating at a normal time for me (Cd18-20ish) this cycle. I'm trying everything in my power to help that including just chilling the eff out because last cycle I truly think my body was gearing up to O and then I stressed myself into delaying.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? I'm going to school on Wednesday to set up my classroom with some of my coworkers. I'm actually excited to see them because it's been a while! And I'm excited to get ready for the new year.
R/R: I decided to start the EOD last night (I usually O between CD 19-23) and when I broke the news to DH he was like "ugh...I'm so tired." At least it's not just me this time around! We had houseguests last weekend, including two toddlers, so we were just exhausted. But with any luck i'll O at my normal time and we'll only have to keep this up for a week or so. When we were TTC DD we started EOD like the day my period ended. it was the worst. DH will be out of town CD 26-28 so hopefully I ovulate before then at the very least.
CS/Q: Nothing really. I haven't seen any EWCM yet which is a little weird for me, but I guess it will be showing up soon.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? My in-laws are coming to town this weekend. I realize that for most people that is not a plus, but they are super helpful, and I have a lot of random stuff I need to do around the house so it will be great to have someone to help with DD while I do that. My closet desperately needs a cleaning out.
@bornmommy. Hi! Just getting a + opk is not enough to confirm O. We usually wait till three days of elevated temps and FF gives you crosshairs to move over to TWW. @hartmich 's chart is a perfect example of getting a +opk but not having ovulation confirmed. You can post wherever you want, but that 3-day "rule" is one most people here try to follow because a positive opk alone does not mean you ovulated, so it doesn't really make sense to move over based on that.
***ETA. MY APOLOGIES! IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND YOU ARE CONFIDENT IN YOUR O-DATE, NO ONE IS GOING TO STOP YOU FROM POSTING IN TWW.//***
@Marley629. Oh! GL today! You will be in my thoughts! <3. I agree, sunflower maze sounds A-MAZE-ing ;)
@hartmich. Yeah, you can totally have two back to back same temps. Bodies are weird. There's no reason for concern unless it really flatlines or you're getting literally the exact same temp consecutively in multiple parts of your cycle, especially where the reading doesn't make sense. But it looks like first it was 96.81 ish, then 96.71 ish, then 96.55 ish so it's probably working fine. I agree, it looks like you geared up to O, but then didn't. Hang in there!

PNV's and waiting out AF, Fertilitea and RRL tea. Seeing the doctor tomorrow.
I had my normal spotting for three days, and last night the worst I got was Light that went away with one wipe, and a pantiliner was fine, so I'm still calling today CD1, and hopefully the Creighton instructor won't want to change it when I see her tomorrow. Lol. This f/u theres a QUIZ! Glad most of the spotting was way lighter tho. Hoping the doctor will up my progesterone this cycle, and going to try and schedule my hsg...
Nah.
Looking forward to moving forward at the doctor and getting my hsg scheduled!
R/R: Not much today. Bored with this part of the cycle so I'm hoping this isn't a super long cycle- I'll be glad when I have enough data to estimate when FW will arrive.
I also need to learn to GIF
CS/Q: N/A
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? Getting my hair and nails done & leaving on our evening flight to Seattle on Friday (cruise departs Saturday). Wayyyyyy too much to do between now and then and I wish I could fast forward!

@BusinessWife - Thanks girl. I've been charting for yeeeaaars. I won't be confirming with my temps this cycle since the open circles and missed days are abundant - thanks to work, camping, and my forgetful mind. This is all I got to go by this time around. If that means I'm breaking rules now by participating in the TWW, I'll lay out this cycle. I've been a reg (as much as I can) here this time around but I'm not trying to step on toes since the culture around here changed.
--- I have gone through the spotting / light period question every cycle since my D&E. I hate it! GL on getting your HSG scheduled soon!

@bornmommy. No, it's cool, you're good. Just so hard to tell anymore who actually knows what they're doing from all the newbs and drivebys! Like I'd hate to see a newb move over too soon and then be confused by their temps or worse yet, not be temping, be "late" getting bfns and confused bc they thought they Od when they hadn't. That's why I said too, feel free to post wherever you want. No one will kick you off the board! Lol
R/R: Having a pity party today. I’ve gained
5+lbs since starting TTC because I keep thinking “I’m going to be pregnant in two
weeks so what does it matter if I gain a little”. Then I saw a picture of me
from this weekend next to one from 6 months ago and I can see the difference.
Also, everyone in the
world is pregnant. Including Bridget Jones.

R/R: This might be a book. I’ll try to
keep it short. I live in a low-crime
area (read: the sticks, boondocks, literally our news headlines are like… Bessy
the cow wins the county fair for the second year in a row!) Saturday there was
a home break-in. Three men were in someone’s house when they came home. Fled on foot, stole a vehicle, wrecked the
vehicle, stole another vehicle, and ran over the owner. Only one of the people has been found. The other 2 were last sighted literally less
than a mile from my house. My anxiety is
on over-drive. I ended up having a panic
attack last night at 1130 & had to take a xanax. When 6am rolled around,
the medicine was not nearly out of my system. I am in zombie mode today and I
am scared to go home after work. DH has
golf league on Mondays and won’t be there until later. Basically, somehow today I am going to have
to find my big girl panties and stop freaking out. Here’s to hoping they find the other 2 people
so I can sleep tonight!
Also….
CS/Q: Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? I spent most of the
weekend cleaning. So now I can just got
home & relax after work. Also, we
are starting to train our dog on home security (^^^^^^^^^^).
ETA: Spoiler box bc that GIF is huge & I don't know why.
@swimsister did you go off of HBC right before TTC? I swear to god, I went off of the pill and IMMEDIATELY gained 5lbs, which did NOT come back off before I got KU with DD. Luckily (and I'm probably enabling poor diet habits here, but whatever) I lost it all again after I gave birth, with relatively little effort (though once I stopped pumping and therefore not producing as much breastmilk anymore, it those 5lbs started to creep back, so I'm now back to the gym to keep those bastards off). :-)
To be fair, I went off the pill the week after my wedding, so most of those 5lbs MAY have been gained because I was on my honeymoon and eating whatever I wanted...but it was an active honeymoon with plenty of hiking, so I'm just going to keep blaming the pill for everything.
@Marley629 Ooh a sunflower maze? That sounds really cool!
@firebaby688 OMG chair massages at work?? That sounds like bliss. I work at home so alas this will not happen for me.
@PolarBear517 Oh, I love the days before a vacation--the anticipation of all the fun and relaxation! Can't beat it!
@swimsister YES! I hear you on the weight stuff. I have been feeling the exact same way--what does it matter now!? But yeah, I have gained 5+ over the last couple months and need to rein it in.
WAYDTGKU: Clomid, PNV, green tea, CM, OPKs,
HIO like we’re 19 year olds
R/R: Got a +OPK on Saturday, based upon
that and the amount/texture of CM, I likely O’d yesterday. I’ll hang with you lovelies before moving
over to TWW in the next couple of days. If this cycle isn’t ~the one~ I’m going to
start temping again. My sleep is erratic
at best so I don’t sleep for three hour intervals but I’ll give it a try
again. The one month I did temp was
annovulatory. Bleh.
CS/Q: The amount of
drive-bys, y’all…I just can’t.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this
week? I’m looking forward to our second week of Blue Apron,
actually! I have loved the recipes and
making something new…and my fav show is Chopped so I throw my hands in the air
when I’m done.
@Marley629 Best of luck today! FX for good news and a good plan @BusinessWife Sorry for your peaks and valleys this cycle…I’m excited to see
what your doctor has planned for you @swimsister I saw the Bridget Jones trailer during the Olympics last night and
was just UGH. @Westy99 I hope they catch them so you and your community can sleep safely.

@hartmich I get multiple days of the same temps - my body/thermo really likes 96.8. I just roll with it. After all, you're looking for trends - maybe not exact numbers. So whether it's 96.9 or 96.85, I'm not sure that matters too too much...? I could be way wrong about that, but for me personally, I can't afford to obsess over little details like that - I would go crazy and my anxiety would be through the roof.

R/R: Just got back late last night (this morning? - it was like 2 am) from a cousin's wedding in Wyoming. We had a great time! I have to share this one story cuz it's HILARIOUS. I have 3 bros, but only 2 came this weekend - my younger brother booked the hotel rooms online. He had been reading an article about crazy hotel room requests that celebrities make, so just to be funny, when he booked the hotel room he typed in the 'special instructions' box that he wanted the room decorated with Dolly Parton pictures. (My older bro loves her..) OMG. That hotel staff went ALL out, guys... there were pics of Dolly on the pillows, quotes from her written everywhere, they printed out pictures of her and made little cardboard cut-out dolls and put them in the bathroom, etc... It was amazing. We were in this little po-dunk wyoming town at a Best Western and they really stepped up - probably the funniest thing about this story is that my little bro had FORGOT he made that request so when he opened the hotel room door he just about fell on the floor laughing... We bought the front desk girl flowers and thank you cards
CS/Q: Hmm - not much here. Chart is royally F"d. Being out of town and drinking a lot this past weekend just messed everything up - FF thinks I O'd on CD12 - which is absolutely not correct by any stretch. I'm probably gonna O in a few days though - starting to get mildly crampy. DH goes out of town Wed - Friday - so that may mess up our timing if I O soon. BUT we do the best we can, eh?
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week?
I go back to work tomorrow - supposed to be there today but took it off to recover from Wyoming craziness. I guess I'm looking forward to getting back into a schedule/groove
@leekat14 Sorry for the brutal period! I was in the same boat this cycle and have a lot of endo fears re-instilled... FX for you.
@hartmich I don't think you've ovulated yet based on your chart. Maybe the EWCM CD14-19 is because it was a false surge? That does happen. I have gotten the same temps twice in a row before so I don't think much of it. My body seems to LOVE being 96.9 before O.
WAYDTGKU: All sorts of business. Probably my first OPK today, just in case, because my work schedule won't allow OPKs CD 10 or 11 this week. The vitex bottle says you should take it three times per day. What a drag.
R/R: Ladies, I am so relieved that I am not the only one to have gained a little weight because "who cares I'll be KU soon" ...sigh. But my husband (who I think I've mentioned before is from an Italian family) has already said something like, "Make sure you are eating enough so we can get pregnant!" So at least he doesn't care.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week?
My favorite coworker in our California office is visiting this week, and tomorrow is a happy hour for her. So excited to see her and hang out, with a drink of course!

@leekat14 I know, it's so stressful. Do you get o pain? I get a little on the right side, but my o pain on the left side is horribly painful. I'm nervous that ovary is affected by endo, which stresses me out even more. I feel fortunate that my gynecologist told me I can come in for testing after just six cycles of trying, given my endo, rather than a full year -- but it still feels so long.

I didn't get to sleep until very late and I'm already feeling like I need a nap today. I can see I missed an....well, what appeared to be an interesting day of bumping. We went to see Bad Moms on Saturday night and @mrsdee15 , since you asked- it was a cute/silly movie and I found it to be pretty funny (also, happy anniversary!) .
CS/Q:
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? Well it's the last week before school is in full swing so that's positive, but I am busy as a bee this week. I have doctor's appointments tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday all while getting my classroom ready, finalizing lesson plans, attending meetings, and preparing for the online courses I'll be taking this semester to begin. Also, I desperately need a haircut.
@hartmich I also have a Mabis and definitely have days, especially pre-O, that are the same or very similar, as they hover within the range of 97.1-97.2. Repeats aren't unheard of for me. I usually see a spike (or don't see any difference) after drinking, but I did take Benadryl once for allergies before bed and saw a huge dip because of that. I think everyone is a little different but that overall, it's not an indication that anything is wrong. I would also agree that it appears like your body is gearing up for O, but not quite there yet. Oh, and have fun at lunch with your grandparents. @BusinessWife I'm sorry to see you back over here in WTO. This was the first cycle in a long time I haven't had to play the game of questioning which day was heavy spotting and which day was CD1, and it used to be really frustrating for me because I just wanted my charts to be as accurate as possible, when in the big picture it probably doesn't make a big difference. I have my HSG tomorrow, and am hoping you are able to get your scheduled for this cycle as well. In the mean time, treat yourself today!
@hezzer78 that story about your hotel is hilarious. I hope you took pictures!
@magnolia131 You are so right, and I am hoping my Creighton instructor doesn't go making a big deal and want to change it just cos that would just be annoying and SO not a big deal when it gets right down to it. I also chart on paper, so I have my whole next month's chart set up and ready to go! lol But I was able to get my HSG scheduled for Monday, even thought the doc hasn't "officially" ordered it yet lol GL tomorrow! Will be thinking of you! <3
@hartmich Waiting... and HIO!!! ;) So it's not all bad! :D
@hope_for_a_baby Wow, that is just awful. I'm so sorry, and I know that hurts. :( I can't even imagine the tact of some people
@adirat Thank you! LOL I swear my DH is the worst too. He doesn't complain about my weight gain AT ALL and he actually LOVES me chubbier! lol he thought I was way too skinny before. (size 6/8 vs. size 0/2/4)Totally not helping. ;) But who am I kidding, my size 6's are too tight right now. BUT! Today's AF weight is WAY less, like easily 5 lbs less than last cycle, so i am considering that a victory. Now to keep my mitts out of the ice cream...
@hezzer78 LMFAO that is hilarious! I have always wondered what I would put down, but the farthest I've ever gone is requesting a room close to the elevator for my mom! Lame, I know!
@ahrains thanks, babe... FX this cycle is more productive... :) I'm glad I went ahead and scheduled the HSG, he will also want to do a folli study, which seems like a pain driving out to their office several days in a row, but whatever, and hoping he will finally put the SA kit in my hand to give to DH. We might have to wait to do that after FW, though, I would think...
@klstone25 I live just under two hours from Nola and, while they are dry, the rest of the state is in horrible conditions. It's affected people we know and it's so heartbreaking!

GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week?

CS/Q: None

R/R: This might be a book. I’ll try to keep it short. I live in a low-crime area (read: the sticks, boondocks, literally our news headlines are like… Bessy the cow wins the county fair for the second year in a row!) Saturday there was a home break-in. Three men were in someone’s house when they came home. Fled on foot, stole a vehicle, wrecked the vehicle, stole another vehicle, and ran over the owner. Only one of the people has been found. The other 2 were last sighted literally less than a mile from my house. My anxiety is on over-drive. I ended up having a panic attack last night at 1130 & had to take a xanax. When 6am rolled around, the medicine was not nearly out of my system. I am in zombie mode today and I am scared to go home after work. DH has golf league on Mondays and won’t be there until later. Basically, somehow today I am going to have to find my big girl panties and stop freaking out. Here’s to hoping they find the other 2 people so I can sleep tonight!
CS/Q: Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
ETA: Spoiler box bc that GIF is huge & I don't know why.GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? I spent most of the weekend cleaning. So now I can just got home & relax after work. Also, we are starting to train our dog on home security (^^^^^^^^^^).

@BusinessWife Good luck at the doctor tomorrow!

I hope you took pictures!
doesn't go making a big deal and want to change it just cos that would just
be annoying and SO not a big deal when it gets right down to it. I also chart on paper, so I have my whole next month's
