    2. How far along are you? EDD? 10w5d due March 1st

    3. Rants/Raves/Randoms:
I'm doing better emotionally, I keep telling myself "I'm pregnant until someone tells me otherwise". Our lost EDD is this Thursday so DH and I (while on our anniversary trip) plan to memorialize Bean the first by saying Kaddish (a Jewish prayer traditionally said after a death). It will be a hard day but glad to be away from home in a beautiful setting.

    4. Next milestone you are looking forward to:
13 week appt after we get back! It will be the longest I've ever been pregnant and I'm praying that I'm not just waiting for the worst until then.

    5. Questions:
When did you start to show? I know every woman and every pregnancy is different but I'm short, size 14, and it's the first time I've gotten this far. My nausea and food aversions are getting better so I desperately need a new symptom to take their place!

    6. GTKY: What is your favorite Olympic sport to watch?
    the winter Olympics...
  • @chrstna618 I was showing by 10 weeks every pregnancy, but I'm built small. I grow big bellies, but luckily I'm all belly.

  • I'm new. I lost my baby at 11wks in June. To my total surprise we conceived on vacation two months later! I'm completely freaked out though.

    I think I'm only 4w4d. EDD around April 20th.

Rants: wish I knew how to be excited instead of panicked. This whole pregnancy I feel is going to be awful. It's not fair that I don't get to have cute happy announcements like you see on Pinterest because I'm gonna be panicked.

Milestone: I can't wait to make sure baby is in there properly and growing. But the true milestone is 12 weeks, since we lost before at 11 weeks.

Questions: did anyone have more cramping than usual after a mc, this early? My uterus hurts like period cramps with some isolated pain on the right (doctor has me all freaked out about ectopic but I'm hoping it's just implantation and my uterus is maybe more sensitive because of the mc a couple months ago). What kind of cramping did you all have? Also, how do you live day to day without panicking at every weird sensation?

GTKY: I've been really enjoying men's and women's gymnastics.

  • 1. Introduce yourself (if you're new): I've been posting a little here and there but never in this thread. So, hi, hello. I've lost 3 pregnancies and have 2 living children. My most recent loss was in April at 21 weeks. (The other ones were before my second son and were earlier.) We were planning on waiting till fall to try again (after going to a recurrent loss specialist), but accidentally got pregnant and I'm terrified.

    2. How far along are you? EDD?
Not 100% sure since I didn't get a period after my stillbirth, but my estimate is 7 weeks, due April 2nd.

    3. Rants/Raves/Randoms:
We've been traveling away from home for 2 weeks - a week after I found out I was pregnant, we had a trip planned, and it's been surprisingly good for distracting me. I've started getting nauseous this week (even threw up!) which made me happy. PGAL is weird.

    4. Next milestone you are looking forward to:
Probably my ultrasound this Wednesday. I feel like it's the first hurdle. Then I'll just be crazy anxious until my anatomy scan should I get that far. (That's when I found out my last baby wasn't going to make it.)

    5. Questions:
For those who have had pregnancies after later losses, when did you feel better? I was always SOMEWHAT anxious after my first trimester, but I'm worried it's going to be out control if I'm lucky enough to get that far.

    6. GTKY: What is your favorite Olympic sport to watch?
Diving and gymnastics! My little boys love to imitate the balance beam and sticking landings, which makes the Olympics even more fun. :)

I had a TON of cramping around 5 weeks, with stabbing pain on my right side. I don't know yet if it's all okay, but no more cramping and no spotting, so hopefully! (ETA: And I just panic nonstop so...no answers there. ;))

Like you said, everyone is different! I THOUGHT I was showing around 14 weeks, but it was probably more like 17 that other people could tell. :)

  • 1. Hello, new here. I am a mama to 2 girls and a loss mama x2. I had a 14 wk loss between my girls in 2012 and a 9 week loss July 2015. We were ttc 7 months this time around.

    2. I'm 4w6d I believe. Edd April 17 or so.

    3. I'm just so relieved to finally be PG. I was starting to try to come to terms with the fact that we might be done even though our family didn't feel complete. Right now I'm feeling zen and positive so I hope it lasts. My first rainbow pg was anxiety ridden and I don't want to get to that place mentally again.

    4. I guess 9.5ish weeks bc that's usudlly when I can start using a Doppler to find the heartbeat at home. That helps me stay positive.

    5. Have any of you gone the route of passing on betas and early u/s post-loss? After my first loss, for the two subsequent pgs I had early u/s and betas, etc, but I'm feeling like that adds to my anxiety and like I want to avoid that this time. Am I alone?

    6. Women's gymnastics! I love the Olympics!

@amwangel, honestly not until my rainbow was born and in my arms. The anxiety lessened when I cod feel her move throughout the day but it never totally subsided.

@chrstna618, I show ridiculously early. Even with my first. I'm 5'4" and short waisted so i expect to be in maternity pants by like 8 wks this time

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
  • @HGRich I've had period type cramps with all 3 of my pregnancies. They last until about 8 weeks.

@amwangel We lost our daughter last fall at 31 weeks. I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant with our rainbow. I still have days that I worry and get anxious. I think getting past 31 weeks will be a relief, but I still won't feel safe until  I'm holding my sweet girl. Feeling her move has been a huge relief.
