How far along are you? 16 weeks!

What's new with baby? Baby is the size of an avocado and can apparently hear now!

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby? nope.

Rants / raves / questions / symptoms: I have to pee all the time! I miss being able to run 7 miles before having to stop to pee. now I last about 2 miles

cautious but also speedy, except when I'm driving the school bus, then its definitely not speedy lol I don't think anything is going to change about it.

How far along are you? What's new with baby?
19 weeks - baby is the size of a zucchini, a melon, or an heirloom tomato.

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby?
Calling daycares like crazy. Called 10 so far and all are full. Went on a day trip last weekend to make sure we like the crib, stroller, and car seat we picked out. Tomorrow, we are headed to a furniture store to look at some dressers. This little nugget is expensive!

Not much this week. @lomyers88I second the peeing problem. Last night, I only made it a mile before I had to stop to pee!

When's your next appointment?

Next Thursday - 8/18. Counting down the days until we found out if it's a boy or a girl!!

I used to be a speed demon but after a few tickets and subsequently, a few years of super high car insurance, I've really slowed down. I'd say I'm much more of a granny now. I expect it will stay the same when I have a kid.

18 weeks! Baby is an artichoke I felt him moving for the first time this Sunday when I was in the water, so cool!!

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby?
Bought the carriage on a crazy sale last week! And getting closer to buying our house but that's it

I've been a little crampy lately which I think is due to the bump that's finally starting to show. I picture baby in there just pushing at the walls trying to make more space... ow!
When's your next appointment?

tomorrow! Full anatomy ultrasound, love seeing him as much as possible

I'm definitely speedy but not crazy because I'm still cautious. I drive over the speed limit but not 100 mph or anything like when I was a stupid teenager!

16 Weeks!! Size if an Avocado, Dill pickle, coke can (All of those seem like very different sizes to me?!)

Crib arrived this week but I have yet to open it. We have guests coming this weekend and need the space.

My co-worker who I share a SMALL office with is such a nosy busy body. She is always up in my work and what I am doing and it drives me FREAKING BAT SHIT CRAZY.

When's your next appointment?

I had one yesterday!! next one is in 2 weeks. I get to see MFM every 2 weeks for the next 2 months.

I am a very confident driver. I don't drive crazy but I do get where I need to go with a bit of speed and efficiency. Bad drivers are really annoying. (Like the person who sits at a green arrow or the person who has a merging lane but stops and waits for the next lane to be clear.) I have already become more cautious when driving and I imaging that will happen even more once the baby arrives.

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby? Started a small registry (second kid) and it's really hard to think of anything that we don't have already from DD

Rants / raves / questions / symptoms: I feel like im on a damn emotional roller coaster like I did during 1st tri. The smallest things make me lose my shit and I have no patience for BS right now. This too shall pass

When's your next appointment? Anatomy scan next Wednesday. Can't wait to see this little pea again.

Living in a big metro city, you kinda have to be aggressive to get anywhere. I'm a VERY cautious driver, especially since DD was born and am always on the defensive for bad drivers out there. However, I'm no granny and the road rage is real lately!

17 weeks today! Baby is as big as a pomegranate.

Definitely no. I'm so exhausted, I barely have the energy to keep up my house. Boo

Raves: I'm over the all day nausea. Also, SPD is ridiculous already and I'm walking like an old lady.

When's your next appointment?

Monday for my every 3 week follow up (yay for being high risk) and then next Monday 8/22 for my anatomy scan!

I'm not perfect and I tend to go over the limit usually but I'm more careful when my kids are in the car.

How far along are you? What's new with baby?

18 weeks! I definitely popped overnight last week. I woke up on Friday morning and my bump was high and hard. There's no hiding it anymore!

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby?

Just agreed with my husband that we are going to gut the hall bathroom this fall. We were on the fence about whether to do it now or next year, but the only bath is in there and we decided it's worth it to pull the trigger now, rather than having to deal with it after the baby is born.

Rants / raves / questions / symptoms:

Raves: I'm also over the all-day nausea (I think). I've been much more active the past 2 weeks and am definitely feeling better overall.

Rants: Still dealing with intermittent bad headaches. I guess this can be a sign of low protein so I'm trying to up my protein intake.

August 25th for 20-week US with MFM

I'm cautious in general, but not a granny by any means. I will be proactive/aggressive when necessary, eg, when driving in NYC.

No. Waiting to find out if we are team blue or pink!

Very understaffed at work this week (hospital) and looks like til further notice. Going in at 5:30am and 6:30am instead of my normal 8am is wearing on me. Plus I have 4 days of training out of town next week. Not looking forward to the drive all those days plus being stuck in a classroom! I need freedom to snack and pee whenever I feel the need. Ugh!
When's your next appointment?

Aug 22nd for an elective ultrasound to find out gender! But we will have them seal it and a friend will do a reveal for us and family over labor day weekend.

Idk why but I always get frustrated at people who are going the exact limit. Annoys me! Not sure how it will change! I will probably be more cautious at first for sure.

19 weeks! Baby girl is moving around like crazy. I'm being beat up on the inside like twice a day.

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby?

I'm like in early nesting mode I swear. We move into our new house on Tuesday and I'm doing everything I can to prep for setting up the nursery. We even bought a double stroller today.

I'm actually starting to gain an appetite and it's so exciting. I was so sick still at this time with DD so I'm thrilled to be feeling better already!

I'm cautious. My car is almost always on cruise because I'm not a speeder. When DD was born that didn't change and with winter being so bad here you have to be cautious and alert at all times.

16w 1d and baby is the size of an avocado. Yesterday we found out that it's a girl!

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby?
Researching strollers but feeling indecisive/overwhelmed so I bought her first outfit instead.

Rants / raves / questions / symptoms:
A little rant: Had my monthly check in with my OB yesterday. A month ago I had asked her about my weight gain, I was worried it was too much and too fast. She said I was fine and not to sweat it. However this visit she told me I've already gained too much and need to make better food choices. I'm a generally healthy person and try to eat as nutritiously as possible but the MS had me eating constantly so I'm feeling a little frustrated. It's let up a lot this week so I'm hoping to get back into more regular eating patterns.

When's your next appointment?

September 8th for our anatomy scan. I can't wait to see my little girl again!

I used to be a terrible driver, but a few tickets taught me to be cautious. I'm thinking once the baby is here I'll be downgraded to "granny".

I haven't posted in weeks but trying to get back on it.

How far along are you? 17 wks

What's new with baby? Baby's rubbery cartilage is now turning to bone. Baby's growing a stronger, thicker umbilical cord too.Baby continues to beef up. Now baby's about 5.1 inches long and weighs about 5.9 ounces

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby? We have looked into ways to minimize and get rid of stuff in the 2nd bedroom to become nursery.

When's your next appointment? I have a anatomy scan Sept 6th and will find out the sex.

How far along are you? What's new with baby?
17 weeks. I'm close to sure I am starting to feel very subtle movement when I'm resting. Mostly when I lay down for bed.

Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby?
My family came into town and me and my sister, who is planning my shower, started playing with some ideas. It's early but nice to talk about when we're together. Plus, I'll be travelling home (AL to NC) for the shower, so it will be earlier than traditional timing and requires a little extra planning.

Rants / raves / questions / symptoms:
Raves: I was SO happy to see my parents and sister for the first time since our move away from home. I miss them already even though they just left this morning. They visited early for my birthday, which is Tuesday! My mom gifted me a glider!
Symptoms: Tired and HUNGRY!

When's your next appointment?
20 week scan on August 30. I'm nervous about this one. Ready to know gender but mostly ready to find out if baby is growing/developing on track.

I don't think I'm a great driver lol. I'm very paranoid and hesitant. Lately, I feel distracted (scary and I'm thinking it's preggo brain.) I *hope* I improve for baby!

@AriB08 I blame preggo brain as well. Sometimes I sit in my driveway and have no idea how I got home (because I'm distracted or foggy) and it freaks me out.

I'm also super nervous about my anatomy scan. Although I'm sure this little guy is OK. With DD I had a perfect AS so I assumed when going to my AS with DS, it would be the same routine thing. Nope lol... with DS' scan, the MFM dr said he had a "spot" in his belly they couldn't identify (that thankfully turned out to only be his gall bladder apparently, which we found out at 34 wks) that was followed every 3-4 week by US and I was a wreck. Thankfully he is a 110% healthy 17 month rambunctious little man

I can definitely sympathize with the nerves! Good luck, I'm sure all is well

@EISG918 We moved to a new state recently and we live off a pretty easy to navigate main road. One way is the military base, the other is town. I've have to stop at the stop sign at the end of our road multiple times and call my husband to ask whether I am supposed to turn left or right

This is my first baby and I've had a few US already for dating and a spotting scare, but I'm more worried about this one than last appointment's. I am praying all is well! Thanks for the encouragement about my 20 week scan.
