My friend said she heard this while pregnant and now her daughters shoulder cracks when she lifts her arm over her head. So she thinks she could hear her bones cracking in the womb!
I hadn't heard of anything like this but I have felt a couple weird pops when she's dragging one of her limbs around and I've put my hand on my belly to feel her. I didn't know what these were and I can't hear them but I described them to DH a few days ago and told him it feels like she's cracking her joints (not purposely obvs).
Yep, bones and joints supposedly! At first I thought I was crazy, then thought maybe it was my ligaments or something. Hope it's not hurting him....hmmmm
I never felt this with my first, but heard about it. This pregnancy, I get a lot of little pops and they've been happening since I started feeling her move at 19 weeks. Sounds and feels like a joint cracking.
Sounds like popping and clicking. At first I thought they were her hiccups, but I did read that it was her bones shifting around...yikes, she must be squashed in there.
lol, I thought you meant popping like when my whole stomach jumps or jerks and people look at me like Im growing an alien in my tummy. I which case, yes! Ive been popping for weeks!
I guess mine sounds kinda like a snap, like, if you snapped a toothpick.
....and my belly's popping around like you mentioned @izzetoot, lol!
Just wondered if anyone has heard it, glad I'm not as crazy as I was thinking. Thank God, I really was like....I swear there's rice krispies in there....
I wouldn't be surprised if you were hearing joints popping. When DD was tint her back cracked when ever we picked her up. I freaked out that somehow I wasn't picking her up correctly. According to the pedi it's totally normal.

Same with my older daughter. Her back always cracked and sometimes her shoulders. I felt like we were breaking her!
Totally their bones!! Now that Layla's arrived, I'll hear the same noises as she's stretching her spine or moving about. Nothing to worry about - she's quite substantial being born at 37 weeks!
Re: I'm literally"popping"!

We have our 36 week appointment on Monday so I'll get some input from the doctor also.
Miss you ladies!
