Clomid Question

So, I am on my first cycle of clomid and I am finding it really hard to relax today. I just feel really on edge and agitated. I just can't seem to settle. I'm not sure if this is common with clomid, like if it is just messing my hormones up, or if I am having some residual stress from work on Friday....or both. Has anyone else on clomid had this??

On a side note, I also broke down crying in the shower this morning as I imagined the Facebook post I would write if we discovered the children we do not even have yet were allergic to cat hair and we would have to give up my cat. Can we say hormone crazies?

Clomid can definitely mess with your emotions. I was irrationally angry a lot, and had pretty bad anxiety.

Clomid screws with your emotions a lot. I was always angry, I have an anxiety disorder so I can't blame anxiety on clomid. But I would have out bursts where I would either be irrationally angry or something small would happen and I would burst into tears. Followed shortly by a second melt down of tears because that wasn't how I acted normally it's the f$&$$ing clomid messing with me

I just finished my second round of Clomid and I totally felt this too! It made me feel like I was on the brink of a panic attack and it also made me very susceptible to crying! The anxiety actually gave me some slight insomnia but after the first few days of taking this subsided and actually my second Clomid cycle was a bit easier than my first at least in terms of sleeping!

Clomid made me crazy. I spontaneously cried all the time and my anxiety was out of control. I tried not to read much on Dr. Google so it was a complete surprise to me but I felt better knowing the drugs were making me crazy and it wasn't just me. Good luck!

Wow... I feel really blessed that my first round didn't come with major crying jags or the anger.
I take my Clomid at night, maybe that helps keep the first major spikes from the med affecting me during the day?
I hope tomorrow is better for you!

I absolutely hated Clomid. It made me a raging lunatic. I had night sweats, couldn't control my anger, my face had more pimples than a hormonal teenager. Bleck!

eeek I am starting Clomid again Thursday pending bloodwork- so not excited. But trying to go into this roundu with positive energy.. I do find taking it at night helps though for sure!

Thanks everyone... glad to know I wasn't just going crazy. Luckily it seemed to level itself off after the first couple of days...but I definitely was still crying at a LOT of stuff on the tv. Thank heavens I have a very relaxed and patient husband
