Coughing and Congestion.

My LO started daycare on Monday of this week and last night we've noticed that she is congested and has been coughing a lot (she isn't  weezy though). Does this sound like a cold? Everything is so different in babies, it makes me nervous! I plan on calling the pedi in a few hours when they open to be sure but I would love to know if any of you have already experienced this Ave how you tackled it.

    Cold will typically come with runny nose, but yes, it sounds like something. Take her temperature and call the nurse line at your pediatrician to ask what you should do

    I called the pedi this morning. They said it sounds like a cold since she has no temp but to call if it gets worse. I'm going to put the humidifier near her crib tonight and keep suctioning the snot out.

    Yeah my lo had a cold when he was about 2 1/2 months old. He had a bit of a cough and a lot of snot as well as congestion. You could hear how congested he was when he breathed. I suctioned the snot with the nose Frieda everyday and we ran the humidifier at night. After about 4-5 days it cleared on its own.
