R/R: I have my nephew this weekend! He's 11 and was my first "baby." It's great to have him and love on him since I don't see him as often as I'd like to.
And DH is making breakfast! Yum!
CS/Q: Nopers
GTKY: What is your "me time" activity?
Either laying around in complete silence and playing around on my phone, catching up on shows that DH doesn't like to watch (Big Brother and PLL), or playing Harvest Moon.
R/R: temp spiked back up! We got so much cleaning and organizing done already so I can spend the rest of the day/night having fun. Hope you all are doing something fun today too!!
CS/Q: how reliable do you think the "charts like mine" function is with the statistics on percentage of pregnancy or ovulatory matches? Anyone use this? Mine is always depressingly low but I did find a PG chart that is freakishly similar too.
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity? There is usually one day a year when I have a day off that my DH doesn't also have. I call it a "me day" and spend it sleeping in, shopping, getting a blow out and or pedi and I treat myself to lunch with wine of course. It's pretty awesome actually.
@kcagle0528 Timing means when you did the deed in comparison to O. Negative numbers are days before O, and positive numbers are days after O. For example, -2, O, +1 means 2 days before O, O, and 1 day after O. Typically FW goes anywhere from -5 to +1.
Also, testing at 7dpo will almost always result in a negative test as that is when implantation will possibly happen. Even testing at 10dpo might give you a negative, but later get a positive at 11+ dpo. Just wanted to give you a heads up so you don't get upset if you see a negative at 7dpo.
Thanks for the info! I guess that means my numbers would be -2, -1, and +1.
And I know that would most likely be super early Been stalking the What Does a Positive PT Look Like thread and saw a couple ladies got a very light positive at 8dpo and 1 at 7dpo. I'm going to be looking out for possible implantation bleeding next week then give it a couple of days. Saving the big $$$ on a digital around 12dpo! Hehe
R/R: working the weekend so not much to see here. Have been very emotional during this TWW, not coping well with things ugh.
CS/Q: nada!
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity? Sitting in bed and drinking my morning coffee before DH wakes up. Best start to the day but only have time for that on days off.
Me: 36 DH: 37 Married May 2013
TTC #1: April 2016 (Mirena removed March 2016 after 2.5 years)a BFP #1: 10/14/16 - DD born 6/2017 TTC #2 November 2018 (Mirena removed October 2018 after 1 year) BFP #2 9/11/19 - EDD 5/24/20 - DD born 5/2020 TTC #3 May 2022 (Mirena removed after almost 2 years) BFP #3 11/24/23 - EDD 7/30/24
@kcagle0528 your homework assignment (pun intended) is to look at the newbie thread pinned at the top. There is a ton of information on there as well as a list of acronyms to help you. Also, most people here would recommend TCOYF as well. Welcome!!
@kcagle0528 - welcome to the waiting game. I think TWW is worst than WTO... because in TWW I spend all my time convincing myself everything that happens is because I could be PG. At least during WTO, you can feel like you're DOING SOMETHING... Good luck! Also, I've read a stat that says only about 25-30% of women will experience implantation bleeding, even if they have before. And don't worry, if you go crazy thinking about symptoms and such...that's what we're all here for. We're doing it too.
Month/Cycle: 5/3
CD/DPO: 20/5
Timing: -5, -3, O
Testing: Unless I see some sort of signs that make me think we'd get a BFP, I'm probably waiting for AF this month.
R/R: Meh. Nothing today. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
CS/Q: Nah.
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity? It's rare, but if I get the chance a massage or pedicure...but that's not very frequently. Most often running or reading.
@KhRun17 You have some major self-control waiting for AF to test. I've seen so many women saying that, or that they're a few days late but still waiting...I have zero self-control LOL Everything about this process has made me wonder how in the world people "accidentally" get pregnant!!! Praying I'm one of the lucky ones who can somehow get pregnant within a couple of months because if not, we'll be waiting until this time next year...want to have the little nugget right before my summer break so I have more time with him/her. So sad some working moms only get 6 wks then back to work (what teachers in my county get as well)....I would be so sad! Good luck, hang in there.
CS/Q: What do you guys think about buying new clothes? I just lost some weight and all my clothes are old and worn out. Obviously if I were to get a BFP the clothes wouldn't fit for too long. Any advice?
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity? I like to watch tv or sleep in.
Testing: Almost have myself talked into doing a cheapie test this weekend, but worried a BFN will just be too discouraging right now.
R/R: Not today
CS/Q: no thank you
GTKY: Reading and making myself guacamole. Also, I occasionally crave fluff TV like "The Bachelor/ette" or "Married at First Sight"
DH: 31, Me: 27 Married May 2014 TTC #1: May 2015 September 2016-December 2016: Met with RE, fertility testing, diagnosis of tubal scarring, and plan of IVF *TW in spoiler boxes*
Surprise! Unexpected BFP 2/22/17 just when we were about to start fertility treatment!
Welcome @kcagle0528 CS/Q is if you're charting your cycles using an app like fertility friend, you can ask ladies to take a peek at your chart (Chart Stalk) if you're unsure of something and it's also a place to ask Questions regarding charting or TWW, TTGP etc. @Dinosaur I'd say buy the clothes...but I definitely worry/think about this, too!
Month/Cycle: 2/2 TTCAL
CD/DPO: 25/11
Timing: -5, -3, -2, -1
Testing: another BFN
R/R: I think I'll call this the "Schrodinger's Cat" stage of TWW and I don't like it. I understand I'm not pregnant today and probably won't be this cycle but I don't know what that means for what I should/shouldn't do. I know many of you drink until it's pink but is there an acceptable number of drinks? Gosh, I feel like a bloody alcoholic asking lol I honestly haven't had much to drink this entire cycle but I'm bummed and it's the weekend and a few drinks would be nice. Advice?
CS/Q: over it. Trying to just be thankful that my chart clearly shows ovulation this cycle, after two wonky charts due to a crappy thermometer
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity? Sometimes it's Bumping, honestly lol But otherwise it's watching one of my shows (DOOL, BIP, Mistresses), and/or eating something I really like.
R/R: Hurray Saturday! DH and I went out for donuts and lattes this morning then I did some shopping for school supplies and my new room. I'm going kinda crazy with the gold trend just now.
R/R: so far it's been a nice morning with the fan. If I get really lucky I might be able to sneak in a nap... Which would be nice since I'm exhausted (cue the bsc...)
CS/Q: not yet
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity? Yoga, knitting, reading or an all to rare nap.
@kcagle0528 welcome, I second the other ladies about reading the pinned threads. Also watch testing too early, often it only leads to heartbreak.
@kirstinH88 I hope you have a great weekend with your nephew!
@saralee797 I have used that feature, and often get sucked down the rabbit hole with it, especially when there is a pregnancy chart that matches up!
@dinosaur I would buy the clothes. Live like your not pregnant until you are, otherwise you might miss out on some opportunities. If you want to play it safe you may buy just a few key pieces or some max dresses or skirts that would grow with you during pregnancy
@MandyBeeSLP mobile bumping won't let me see your chart so feel free to post a pic of you like but YAY for temp spike!
ETA: sorry for the questions regarding alcohol. Obvs I can wait til AF. I guess I'm just trying to figure out the healthy balance between overly cautious and reckless. I tend to err on the side of overly cautious but don't want to make my life needlessly miserable for however long this process will take! Kwim?
CD/DPO: the tracker ap I use says I'm a special snowflayke with a 14 day LP and that I'm 24/5, cm says closer to 24/7, so really I have absolutely no clue how many dpo I am
Timing: high
Testing: August 22 if period or signs of period haven't shown up by then
R/R: part of me thinks I just need to temp but then the other part of me thinks it'll be too stressful. Idk.
CS/Q:
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity?
R/R: BFN. Will test again tomorrow morning with FMU but my hopes aren't very high. Mostly okay at seeing the BFN, after almost an entire year of seeing them, one really gets used to them. But also I'm a wee bit bitter.
CS/Q:
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity?
I'm in the same boat @Dinosaur . I'm planning on getting looser tops and sweater dresses, things I could wear with leggings, so I could wear them through most of a pregnancy.
I think I've read that drinking to excess can impact implantation, but a couple drinks is fine @rainbowturtles
@LadyMillil - oh my gosh do I love sweater dresses and leggings! That's probably my favorite thing all the time! I'm always cold, so I LOOOOVE summer but Sweaters/Sweater dresses make me look forward to fall (also, I'm basic - so Pumpkin Spice Lattes too).
GTKY: I left 15 min early for work today so I could sit and have an iced coffee by myself before starting my shift lol me time is few and far between lately
R/R: I'm at my in-laws for the weekend and left yesterday; DH is meeting me here tonight and when I left him yesterday I was getting emotional. Totally was thinking how it could be because I'm KU but also know it could be way too early to see that kind of thing. *sigh* stupid symptom spotting
CS/Q: nada
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO) What is your "me time" activity? Uninterrupted reading!!! I swear any time I pick up a book and start reading DH will try to talk to me until I put the book down and give him an irritated look; at which point he will get pissy and say that he'll leave me alone so I can read
"It's time to try defying gravity."

@MandyBeeSLP Hopefully that temp rise means good things!!!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
