Yes and not much. Lol, baby boy is getting a "rustic seaside" nursery. However, nothing has been started. We are moving SD to a "big girl teen room" down the hall and starting that process today. Then we can start the nursery in her old room (which is closer to our room)!

An endive. I actually know what this is! I've cooked with the small, Belgian ones.

Monthly endocrinologist appointment. Otherwise, nada.

Still trying to find the right sleeping pillow combo to help with back pain. A work in progress.

No progress yet, as it is currently the guest room. The real guest room is a staging area for the laundry/storage room remodel. We can't start the nursery until the laundry room is done. We are close! It's going to be a "woodland" theme with foxes, squirrels, hedgehogs, etc.
@Gizmo1231I love the sound of a rustic seaside. We should post nursery photos in a few months to share how they turn out! I bet yours will be beautiful!!

Appointment on Tuesday, during which I will attempt to see if they will schedule my GD test for the last Friday before school officially starts, which is technically 25 +6, one day before the earliest the office wishes to schedule it. But I am already maxing out my sick days for maternity leave and would rather not have to leave early to do it.
Rants/Raves/Questions? DH is out of town for his bro's bachelor party for like, 5 days, and won't be home til Monday night. I was so nervous about being alone with DS (who is 14 months) for 5 days I was like, panicking. BUT all has gone pretty well! I still have to make it through two more days, but he goes to daycare Monday so really, just tomorrow. Knock on wood that it continues to go relatively decently.

So Lorelei is getting a recycled woodland creatures theme from DS and DS is getting a super mario bros. themed room which we are making progress on...I ordered the stickers for the wall, his room is painted bright blue, and he has some green curtains...he just needs some red furniture accents to make it really awesome. But he's a baby sooooo, maybe that won't happen, haha.

No appointments, but taking my in-laws adopted sons with us for the week. So I will have 4 kids with me all week! Beach, Zoo, Downtown Seattle, and soccer practice! Hopefully I can get a nap in there somewhere...

I am super happy for our little boy to join us in December, but I already look like I am 8 months pregnant. The coming months should be interesting..,

Lol, this is our 3rd baby. We are going to change our guest bedroom a bit, take out on of the 2 full beds. We will have a crib in there, rocking chair, changing table. I guess our theme will be IKEA, we already have a super cute light fixture, bedding, and mobile from ikea. But I'm not going all out, it'll be a nice room but won't break the bank.
@SmashJam is Lorelei the name you guys chose? I love it
Both of your daughters names are beautiful, and I love Lucas as a name. We thought about Luca for DS-my husband has Italian and Greek background so for him we were looking for Italian names mostly.

We are doing gray and yellow as our color scheme. The walls will be gray and our bedding (which my parents just ordered for us) is gray and yellow and has giraffes...not sure if we will have an actual "theme" though.

GTKY: Do you have a nursery theme or color scheme? Have you made any progress? Baby's room is painted light yellow and we are doing white, light gray, and light teal-blue as accent colors. No theme really, just colors. The dresser still needs painted, but then we can start putting everything in the room and things on the walls!

not so patiently waiting for fall weather in western pa.. When this humidity breaks I'll be doing my happy dance!!

we are primarily doing gray and white, walls are already light gray, the theme will be elephants but not overly decorated! I'm sure I'll throw some fun pops of color in there too.

How big is baby? As big as an endive. I don't know what that is!
Whats going on this week? Appointments? None this week, my next is in September at 24 weeks. It's crazy how close September is!
Rants/Raves/Questions? We had a small reveal party with family Saturday and they're all thrilled for another girl!
GTKY: Do you have a nursery theme or color scheme? Have you made any progress? Absolutely no progress here. There's a chance we might be moving this fall (insane, I know!) so I'm kind of stalling. But I know I want coral and mint green and gray (or maybe gold instead of gray) and elephants! We just have to wait and see what happens. Either way, I know DD2's nursery won't be ready as early as DD1's was. Sorry second child!
