6 week old with rash on chest/stomach

Hey everyone! My daughter is 6 weeks old today. Last night when I was changing her I noticed a rash on her chest and stomach. I monitored it overnight and it looked the same today. She threw up big time this morning, like ALL over my husband. The entire front of his shirt was soaked. And she's been a little fussier than normal. We did call her dr and spoke with advice nurse and they didn't seem too concerned. But I'm bothered by it. I've added a photo. Just curious if any of you have seen this before. Thanks in advance.

That was my first thought but it's not hot here and def not in our house. I almost put a sweatshirt on today. Lol

My 7 week old had the same rash today. I chalked it up to the heat. It's cleared up now though. I would just keep an eye on it.

Could be your detergent or baby wash. Mine had a reaction to Honest Co laundry detergent.

I was going to suggest detergent as well. Do not only consider cloths but blankets and towels as well.

It has to be a lotion, detergent or wash that maybe doesn't agree. Most likely detergent, try another one and see if it gets better. Honest company seems to agree with my dd but maybe dreft or something will work or another brand depending on what you use?
