I didn't vote, but since it's our second child we are doing a co Ed baby BBQ (not asking for gifts) so that's an option.. Of course you can accept gifts. My first child I had a coed shower, but it was my brothers that were invited. I suggest games and prizes for both female and male winners to keep guys interested. That is what we are doing or offering a "dad"chelor party at the same time as your shower!
I did a coed (unfortunately not many males attended) but! I'm really glad my fiancé was there to help me give appreciation to all our family members who showed up. It was a great way to keep him involved and definitely got him a little more excited for baby to arrive. He even helped decorate. If your husband is a good sport, go ahead! You guys could have a lot of fun together
Oh boy, if we didn't have a co-ed shower, I don't think I'd have had one. All of my husband's friends showed up and made the party a lot of fun, only a handful of mine came or even bothered to rsvp. We still did the games and opened gifts and all that. I am so glad my husband was there to share in the celebration of our child coming. He helped, he should get to bask in the glory as well(if he wants).
