Hormones!!

How is everyone else doing? I think I'm losing it with the hot flashes and mood swings. Not sure if it's from starting birth control or just getting back to normal or both... and my face is freaking out. My amazing face wash I used my entire pregnancy no longer works.. soo what are you ladies using now since we don't have that beautiful skin and glow anymore?? Or maybe some of you lucky ones still do

Re: Hormones!!

  • I almost let DH have it today.  I'm almost 6weeks pp so I feel like I probably still have some hormones going on there, not to mention I got my period this week, plus had an IUD put in yesterday.  Top that with LO reflux making him a little more fussy last couple days and boy am I ready to fight! Lol!!

  • Im still a big blubbery mess lol. There is some major in law drama at my house right now. Whats irritating is things that normally would piss me off are making me cry and I hate it
  • At 10 weeks pp I'm just now feeling a little more leveled out but my skin is still freaking out. Like you I've used the same face acne products for years with clear skin now it's not working at all. I made a dermatologist app for Monday morning I hope she can recconend some safe products while breastfeeding and I don't waste my time/Money. I just picked up some clean and clear advantage spot cream and moisturizer and it seems to be helping some. Maybe after Monday's app I'll have some better advice!

Hey, I'm an esthetition by trade.  Don't waste your time at the seems office.  I recommend staying away from vit A products such as retinA and retinol ect. And salicylic acid is also a no-no.  Some say it's fine in percentages smaller than 1-2% but that's up to you.  Those products penetrate the skin better and get into your blood and therefore your milk as well.  Depending on your skin type i can give you tips on how to help the breakouts.
