Sore stomach

this is my second baby. However, my stomach is super super sore, as if I did a ton of sit ups. I'm 8 weeks. My hubby says it happened with our first but I don't remember. Should I be concerned?

I would say if you are are as sore as you say you are and concerned enough to come here it's probably worth a call to the OB just to run it by them. This is my second pregnancy and I have never experienced anything like that, especially so early in the pregnancy. It could be nothing, but I feel like a professional opinion would be the best route to take.

Also, I don't recognize your screen name. I would recommend introducing yourself if you haven't already and joining in on some of the threads we have going. We're a fun group!

  • @remember17 I always suggest that people ask their doctor if they are concerned so please don't let me keep you from that... However, I have nearly constant pain in/on my stomach and I have for the past 3 pregnancies. It's sensitive to the touch at times and it just feels sore. My doctor has never been concerned but I ask every time just to be reminded lol. I guess I am saying I really hope it's nothing, it could be nothing but ask about it anyway. Also, cramping is different from the pain I am describing. I would be more nervous about cramping.
  • What @meq124 said. If it's something that's a big enough concern for you, run it past your OB. Some of us are indeed medical professionals, but don't let the word of internet strangers take the place of your own doctor's advice.

Either way, feel free to read through the pinned threads at the top of the board. It will give you some information on the nature of this BMB and it's organization. You can also introduce yourself in the Intro & EDD thread and join us in conversation on different threads, like Weekly Symptoms and the dailies.
