How big is baby? Grapefruit, ear of corn, bunch of grapes
Whats going on this week? Appointments? I have my next appointment on Monday, I'm pretty sure it'll be the first month I've gained weight instead of lost it haha
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm staying in a hotel this week for work. I really wanted to wear a dress today, but shaving my legs was NOT happening in the stall shower. I'm going to go ahead and say that's pregnancy related ; )
GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? I'm a total night owl! It hasn't really changed during pregnancy, but it's making me a lot more tired than usual. Luckily being pregnant works as an excuse to sleep in - or at least it works on my early bird DH.
Whats going on this week? Appointments? Had my anatomy scan yesterday, which I think went well? I asked the tech if she would tell me if anything was wrong, and she said no, haha. But she showed me his spine and his nasal bone, and it didn't seem like there were any red flags. I guess if I get a call today, I'll know something is up.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My whole body hurts from a workout I did two days ago, and I can't take my beloved ibuprofen to help the soreness! Wahhhh. I'm thinking I'll probably take a bath in epsom salts later today.
GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? I try to be an early bird, but with pregnancy, it's been harder to get myself out of bed. I think I make the excuse that I need sleep because baby.

Whats going on this week? Appointments? We had an appt on Tuesday and everything went great! So we scheduled the awesome glucose test for september 9th. Yay.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: DH has been out of town all week and was supposed to get to come home today. I woke up to a message saying he won't be back until tomorrow evening. Cue hormonal ugly cry! Also, my phone is super spastic as far as this whole bold type thing so some answers are bold and others aren't...and that bugs me right now! Haha
GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? Night owl all the way! I could sleep in soooo late if DS would let me, even though he wakes up later than most 4 year olds I know so I can't complain.
How big is baby? A grapefruit or a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese
Whats going on this week? Appointments? Appt yesterday. Down 9 lbs since the beginning. Endo and gastro doc Tuesday.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I HATE pelvic pain/pressure and my hips constantly feeling like they're both being yanked out of socket. My OB told me yesterday to try a couple different things, so I hope at least one of them brings relief.
GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? Both. I've always been a night owl. I'm usually up until 2 or 3 am. Then, I'm up at 5:40 making DD's lunch, and getting her up and ready for school. Then, I get my nephew at 7:45.
How big is baby? Coconut, water bottle, guinea pig
Whats going on this week? Appointments? I had my monthly OB appt today - doctor said everything was great, BP good, weight good, great size, good HB for Baby Bells. It was the first appt where I switched from the midwife to the OB and I love the OB so much - so glad I switched!
We also had our first Bradley class today. They gave us a lot of exercises to do, 50 Kegels, 50 cat/cow, sitting cross legged, squats, and nutrition information. I was the least far along in the class, which is 12 weeks. There was one chick in there that was 34 weeks and I'm like why are you starting a 12 week class now?? It is only 4 other couples and they are all very friendly and I'm looking forward to the class. one other great thing about it was it is taking the fear out of childbirth. they showed us one birth online which was so much less scary than what they show in TV! Apparently if you aren't scared sh1tless it helps you deliver the baby
Rants/Raves/Questions? Things are great! 50 kegels a day is soooo hard. Hopefully this weekend we will get the nursery painted and I can start ordering furniture!!
GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? I am an early bird but will sleep for a long time now that I'm pregnant. I still have to be in bed by 10 p.m. or I get really cranky though. I think getting up multiple times a night to use the bathroom makes me even more tired.

How far along are you? 24w! YAY for VIABILITY DAY How big is baby? Cantaloupe Whats going on this week? Appointments? Not much Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: My OB has been out of the office since he saw me last week, so I have been waiting (somewhat) patiently for him to get back. That way I can find out if he will let me push bedrest/not working out for about 2 more weeks. Well its been approximately 11hrs of office time, and I have heard nothing. I'm getting pissed.
Rave: My two ladies who visiting teach me from church might come and steal L for a day or two between them. So I can actually have a day of bedrest, instead of wrestle with/be jungle gym for a 1 yr. old.
Question: Do any of you ladies have any personal/know someone who had a really short cervix, and how long before they delivered after the stitch came out? I can't really find any stats or studies, but I want to try and be prepared as much as possible. GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? I can stay up late and get up early and be fine. Too many late nights and early mornings from sports in HS I guess. I typically try to get to bed at 10 because 'I'm a responsible adult' and have to be ready to leave for work at 7am.

Whats going on this week? Appointments? Just an appointment on the 16th. GERD and MS have gotten significantly worse so I started Nexium, hopefully that helps. If it doesn't then I think that's something we'll address on the 16th.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? Both. I'm always up at 7 no matter how late I was up the night before. I was up all night last night with GERD and MS and was still up at 7 this morning. I'll probably have a nap at some point today.
@karmba that first class was good! I like how it has the partners involved right from the start and gives you a lot of confidence/assurance about the process. The included workbook has weekly homework and lots of cool diagrams and drawings. Between the class and my doula I think I will survive this process. $350 for 12 weeks seemed like a great deal too.
I set 5 reminders on my phone throughout the day to do 10 Kegels I also made a pocket sized excel spreadsheet for me to check off all the exercises throughout the day. I go a bit overboard sometimes, but this is important to me.

GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? I'm a little of both. I don't stay up too crazy late, but I hate going to bed really early. And I used to wake up by 7:30 even when I was off work, I hate wasting my day laying in bed. Now that I'm pregnant I nap a lot, so bedtime is about the same, but I wake up so often in the middle of the night that I definitely sleep later when I can.

Rants/Raves/Questions?
GTKY: Are you an early bird or a night owl? Has being pregnant changed this at all? I would say more of an early bird than a night owl, but that is partly due to the fact that DD wakes up between 6 and 7.
