I'm gonna be starting the Nuvaring once I start my period...I'm 6 weeks post partum now...I wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on using the ring. anybody used it before? did you use it continuously or 3 weeks on and 1 week off. did you get your period with it? any side effects?

    I used the nuvaring for 4 years and loved it! It was the only birth that didn't give me horrible side effects since it is such a low hormone product.  I used it continuously.  I still got my period but it was always light and only lasted three days.  I will say though that sometimes when my DH and I  were doing the deed he could feel it.  It didn't bug him though. Also a tip for inserting it high enough put it in a tampon cartridge! Or just make your hubby help out

    I used it for about 8 yrs befor DD and I loved it! I am forgetful so it was helpful because once it's in you don't have to think about bc . I didn't have any side effects
