    In the every two week phase and I'll be going next Thursday!

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
    rant--- just wondering when our due date will be here. These dog days of summer really have me feeling done!!!!

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
    still everything I can't have. A nice cold beer would be great!!!!

    GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween and do you have a costume for baby?
    we are thinking of doing a family of skeletons.

    How many weeks? 32 Weeks only 8 weeks to go! 

    What size is baby? The size of a squash or bringing it back to elementary gym a plastic scooter board

    Upcoming appointments? 32 Week appointment coming up Friday morning. 
       Plan to follow up with the doctor from the growth ultrasound we had last week Tuesday, baby was measuring 2.5 weeks early in multiple areas since she's a new doctor to me I just want to make sure to know her policy because I'd rather not go much earlier than my due date.  
       We'll also discuss birth plan at this appointment. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
       Rant - the weather it's too hot and humid but makes me thankful for an air conditioned office. 
       Questions - How do you choose a video monitor?  We didn't have one with our first since we were in a small apartment but now in our house we'd like to have a video monitor but there's so many to choose from and so many reviews seem mixed I'm not quite sure where to start.  

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
       Symptoms: Sciatic pain, Acid refulx, insomnia, joint pain, I feel like so many symptoms have kicked in this week. 

    GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween and do you have a costume for baby?
       The university I work at does "Halloween in the Halls" typically the Wednesday before Halloween where they have residents sign up to have kids trick or treat to their dorm room.  I'm planning to do that again with our 3 year old and baby since it'll be an indoor trick or treat and our son had a lot of fun last year.  We moved to a neighborhood a few months ago that has lots of families with children, so I think for Halloween I'll probably star home with baby since I think this will be one of the first years we'll ever have trick-or-treaters and send my husband out with our son around the neighborhood to trick or treat. 
       For the Halloween event at my work we'll probably try and match the boys costumes to one another as a theme, but we'll let our 3 year old pick his costume and match baby from there.

    We got the Motorola video monitor. I think it just depends on how you're gonna use it. Baby is going to room with us for a while and will most likely be downstairs with me for most of the day, so I don't really foresee using it until he's in his crib. Even then he's just next door to our bedroom, so I'm not worried about not hearing him. The important thing for me was being able to see him if need be. I also didn't find the fancy stuff necessary like wifi/syncing to your phone, etc. some of the monitors can get super expensive! But I can see how you might want some of those features depending on your situation.

    I just realized I didn't answer my own questions! Oy.

    Huge?! I think almost 4 lbs

    Upcoming appointments?
    We had our biweekly appt on Tuesday so not for another 2 weeks when I'll get my TDAP

    My dad is here painting the nursery this weekend, I'm SO excited!!

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
    Acid reflux is so bad, it's brought my morning sickness back. The dr is a little concerned because I stopped gaining weight so I'm on a 150mg Zantac regimen twice a day. Really hoping it helps. My back is starting to bother me from work picking up all the kiddies, but my last day is next Wednesday and I'm so excited to have the rest of my pregnancy to get the house ready and get everything we need for baby!

    GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween and do you have a costume for baby?
    We might dress him as Robin to be our friend's baby's Batman sidekick. Or we might just dress him in the fuzzy zipper pumpkin outfit we bought a couple weeks ago!

    What size is baby? Acorn squash 

    Upcoming appointments? This coming Monday 

    Rants/Raves/Questions? It hot! I sweat like crazy!

    Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Can't sleep, peeing all the time, shortness of breath, Braxton hicks more, and swelling... Still on a lemon kick. 

    GTKY: What are your plans for Halloween and do you have a costume for baby? We are going to be a family of 4 when baby gets here and our 3 year old son wants to be a ninja turtle. So I thought everyone could be one since there are 4. I'm just hoping he comes before then.
