I see a lot of you have toddlers but I was wondering if anyone else has older kids. My daughter will turn 15 a month after the baby is born. She's excited to be a big sister and having her little brother or sister visit her when she goes to college. She also wants to do what she can to help. Of course, she has always been awesome with kids.
Anyone else with older kids? How did they take the news of another little one on the way?

I'm a FTM, but am 17 years older than my youngest sister. There are 4 siblings between us, but the 2nd youngest was 9 when my sister was born.
I'll admit I had mixed emotions when my mom told us she was pregnant again, mainly because I was worried about how my friends would react. But I got over that pretty quickly and was happy when my sister was born, and then sad when I had to leave her a year later to go off to college. She's in high school now and I'm just as close with her as I am with my other sisters (who are 2 and 4 years younger than I am). I actually see her more often than my other siblings now because I live near my parents and everyone else is scattered, and also busy with their jobs and adult lives. I can't imagine not having her around!
My husband is also the youngest in his family with a large age gap - his sister and brother are 14 and 11 years older, and they live far away. They were out of the house when he was still little, but he's still really close with both of them.
