1. I'm a 27 year old WAHM with a 14 month old. My first pregnancy ended at 6 weeks and then I immediately got pregnant with my son. I'm scared that this pregnancy will end the same was as my first.
2. How far along are you? 5 weeks based on LMP but I believe I ovulated late so closer to 4 weeks and 4 days.
3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Seeing a heartbeat at my 7 week ultrasound
4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: looking forward to getting to know all y'all!
5. GTKY: Are you ready for summer to be over or soaking in the last month of warm weather? I am ready for it not to be 100 degrees everyday. I love summer but I'm tired of melting when I walk outside.
1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. I'm 23. Have two previous losses with no living children.
2. How far along are you? 5+5
3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I'm looking forward to my first u/s and a heartbeat. If I can pass 6 weeks successfully, I'll have passed my previous loss dates. I'm looking forward to my first u/s and a heartbeat. I think I'll be a nervous wreck until then.
4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: So far it seems like these lovenox injections are doing their job. The bruising and daily injections suck, but are well worth it to have a take-home baby.
5. GTKY: Are you ready for summer to be over or soaking in the last month of warm weather? It's way to hot for me. Bring on the fall so I can hide out in yoga pants and hoodies.
I'm 32, we've been trying for over a year now and have three losses and no living children.
2. How far along are you? 5w6d
3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? We have our first ultrasound Thursday, and we've never seen a heartbeat with any of our previous pregnancies, so if we get one this week I may cry.
4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm recklessly optimistic, but I got a clear positive at 12dpo (very early for me) and a much stronger progression of the line darkening over the next week than I ever have before, so I'm feeling fairly confident about this one.
5. GTKY: Are you ready for summer to be over or soaking in the last month of warm weather? I'm never ready for summer to be over, bring on the heat! Fall is ok, but it means winter is coming and I hate the cold
1. This is my third pregnancy and I have one son, he is 20 months old. Before him I had a devastating missed m/c at 10.5 weeks. I hope it is ok that I participate here. My pregnancy with my son was very difficult and such a challenge but I am trying my best to stay strong even though my PGAL brain is already going haywire! I believe my edd is April 11. 2. 5 weeks Tomm 3. Had my second round of betas drawn today. Looking forward to getting results back. 4.im trying I stay optimistic but I over analyze and worry about everything. 5.i love summer and am not ready for it to be over!!
1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. Hello, I am mrsstuessy. I am 26 years old. DH is 28. We have an almost 3 year old DD. I had a loss at the beginning of July. It was very early, right before 5 weeks. But, it was very real and very hard for me. We were not really trying this cycle, because I was still not sure if I was ready. But, it only took one time and I am pregnant.
2. How far along are you? I am 4 weeks, 2 days.
3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I am looking forward to getting to 5 weeks, since that will be a day further than the last one. Small steps.
4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Last night as I went to bed I started to have some cramps. Now, I know cramps are normal. I had them the whole first trimester with DD, and she was obviously fine. I had them with the last pregnancy too, but then they got worse and I went to the bathroom and realized it was over. So now I am scared to death. I was laying there last night trying to fall asleep, being freaked out. And this morning, it was my day to sleep in. But, I woke up about 20 times to some very minor cramps, just on edge and so scared. It is going to be a long day.
5. GTKY: Are you ready for summer to be over or soaking in the last month of warm weather? I am always ready for summer to be over about mid July. I am not a big summer fan. It is my least favorite month. So, I am more than ready for fall and then winter. Summer is way overrated, in my opinion. And hot. I hate being hot soooooooo much.

1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. I am 33, DH is 40. We have 2 boys 5 and 3. Had a MMC in April at 10 weeks which has completely changed me. Pgal brain is awful and I so wish I could go back to just being naive and happy!!
2. How far along are you? 6 weeks and 2 days
3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? US on Thursday...hoping for that heartbeat!
4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I am really trying to stay positive...but I analyze, over think and obsess about everything.
5. GTKY: Are you ready for summer to be over or soaking in the last month of warm weather? Both...I love summer. I hate being cold...but fall is also my favorite time. But I hate that it means winter is near.
1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. Hi, I'm Amanda (30) and hubby is Michael (36). I've had two losses, both very early. One in June 2011 and another this past June.
2. How far along are you? 4 weeks 2 days. I'm only 16 DPO. My bst dropped this morning by a tenth of a degree, which really got my heart racing, but I'm trying to relax.
3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I'm very much looking forward to telling my husband that we're pregnant this evening! He's been out of town for work, and I wanted it to be special.
4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I had a doctor's appointment last week with an incredibly insensitive OB last week. I shared that I was spotting that day, and felt concerned due to my previous losses. After my insistence, she ordered a beta test and nightly progesterone suppository, but she couldn't have cared less. I felt quite hopeless after the appointment, but I'm feeling better now. Such a different experience from others on this board who seem to have OBs genuinely concerned for the viability of their PGAL.
5. GTKY: Are you ready for summer to be over or soaking in the last month of warm weather? I live in southern SE Alaska, so it's been 60 all summer. I'd love a couple more warm weekend before the rain comes.
akslevin I'm sorry that you had a negative experience with your OB. I'll tell you that you really have to be your own advocate when it comes to things like this. It took some pressure but luckily my OB was more than willing to do significant testing after my second loss, when according to insurance you're not supposed to before 3 losses. I was actually denied from an RE for that. Also, anything prior to hearing a HB and most doctors don't take it very seriously. Unfortunately, this early in the game there's not much that doctor's can do so they tend to be more insensitive.
1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. DH and I are both 29 and I've had 2 early miscarriages/chemical pregnancies. One before my son and one in early May. Both times were the first time we tried and I really didn't think it would happen the exact same way the second time.
2. How far along are you? 5 weeks, 5 days
3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Hearing the heartbeat on doppler at my midwife's office, so I have a long time to wait. I prefer to avoid first tri ultrasounds.
4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I've been doing a better job staying positive about this baby sticking and the tests have all been nice and dark, which is different than the losses which were progressively lighter and then gone. I won't really be able to relax much until after the anatomy scan at 20 weeks goes well though.
5. GTKY: Are you ready for summer to be over or soaking in the last month of warm weather? I live in Phoenix and I'm tired of being cooked. I want crisp October weather.
1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. I am 25, DH is 28. This is my second pregnany. No living children. I had an early loss in June.
2. How far along are you? 3+6
3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Beta is tomorrow. Hopefully first ultrasound in the next couple weeks
4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I already feel more positive about this pregnancy. I hope this is a good "mothers tuition" because last pregnancy I did not feel good about it at all.
5. GTKY: Are you ready for summer to be over or soaking in the last month of warm weather? I am over summer before it begins. I am a cool/cold weather girl.

@HarryPotterandCats I also didn't have a good feeling about my last pregnancy, which was on early loss. This one I feel really good about. I don't really think that is very scientific. And, in a way, it is annoying me that I am feeling so optimistic. But, it is just how I feel. So, you are not alone in that.
