How far along are you? EDD? 13 weeks tomorrow, 14-Feb

How are you feeling? I just want to get rid of this f*ing headache!

R/R/Other: I have my NT scan on Wednesday. A little nervous, but a little excited.

Questions: Got any good headache remedies??

GTKY: I used to say it with a soft G since that is what the creator of it says it was meant to be. But, seems like that is not the norm, so I have changed it.

How are you feeling? Much more steady and normal than I was a couple of weeks ago. I feel like I'm actually getting used to things.

R/R/Other: NT scan a week from today!!!!!!

Questions: N/A

GTKY: Gif. Do you pronounce it with a hard G like gift, or with a soft G like Jif peanut butter? I love this question. I have had lengthy discussions about it (is anyone surprised?). I say it with a hard G because that's what's become commonly accepted.

How are you feeling? My symptoms come and go rather then being constant which is sort of nice I guess.

R/R/Other: I've kept my pregnancy on the DL thus far, and would like to keep it that way until at least 16 weeks, but sometimes I just want to shout at my coworkers, "Leave me alone, I'm KTFU and don't have time for you BS and my workload" but that's probably not the best way for my bosses to find out I'm pregnant.

@Steelerfan78 Sounds like you could be dehydrated, try sipping on a gatorade, if that fails a caffeinated soda, two tylenol and a 20 minute power nap always has me feeling like a new woman.

How are you feeling? Tired, nauseous, and emotional

R/R/Other: I'm jealous of everyone with their NT scans. My doctor didn't feel like it was necessary and recommended we just wait until the A/S so I don't get to see this baby again until October. I wish there was a way I could just know everything is going ok. I mean I know I have symptoms but I just want like a daily report from the baby like "Good morning mother, I am fine" or maybe just like a little light on my belly that shows green while everything is OK. I want to get a home doppler but I'm kind of afraid I won't find the HB and then I'll freak myself out even more but waiting 4 weeks between hearing him/her is so hard!

@Steelerfan78 just out of curiosity have you recently cut back on caffeine or stopped it completely? I got awful headaches while quitting caffeine. Also if I have a headache caffeine seems to help more than anything else. It doesn't even take a lot for me just a can of diet pepsi which I think is only like 40mg of caffeine so well under the 200mg limit.

@MrsDramaK @marriedhamstermom Thanks for the recommendations. I have been drinking a lot of Gatorade (at least 1-2 servings a day) and it's not much help. I stay pretty hydrated (obvious due to frequent bathroom trips) and I don't drink caffeine. I stopped drinking green tea in the morning around the time I got my BFP. I've tried some iced tea and that didn't seem to help much either. I can't stomach pop, so that's out of the question.Tylenol is useless for me and naps seem to make it worse. I'm down right miserable, but I see my OB tomorrow and will ask him about it then. Thanks again!

How far along are you? EDD? 11 weeks 4 days, EDD 2/24

How are you feeling? Pretty good today, some days not great but overall can't really complain too much compared to how bad some other ladies have it, but sometimes the headaches are awful!

R/R/Other: I am so excited to try my pregnancy pillow tonight, sleep has started to get pretty darn uncomfy and so broken between the peeing and waking up because I am not comfy

Haven't heard anyone say it the other way, but my Mom's boyfriend pronounces salmon fish with a strong L like saL-mon, and I usually only hear people say it like sa-mon with a silent L

@marriedhamstermom literally 75% of the reason why I elected for the NT scan is to get an extra ultrasound. FFMC, maybe, but I'll own it

@NiceyMeany I know I wanted to still do it because of that but once the doctor told DH there was really no reason to get it and everything was fine DH wanted to save the money... I was too happy having just heard the heartbeat for the first time to really disagree with anything so no NT scan for us. I should see if there are any elective places nearby and maybe talk DH into going to one of those!

@Steelerfan78 it could be your blood pressure, pregnancy has a way of messing with it and either low or high it can cause headaches. I get low blood pressure and salty food helps because of it's raising my blood pressure, but if your blood pressure is high salt will just make it worse.
