Rants/Raves/Questions? Been receiving gifts in the mail for baby boy and it's like Christmas! Loving everything we've gotten so far. We aw very lucky to have such wonderful people In our lives!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Starting to get a little more uncomfy and cramping on and off. Braxton Hicks at its finest and making sure I drink tons and stay hydrated!
GTKY: What are your favorite Olympic sports to watch? Gymnastics and swimming for sure! Can't wait for softball to come in 2020!

Upcoming appointments? Endocrinologist appointment tomorrow for thyroid check-in and 2 week OB appt. on Wednesday!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Had some anxiety Saturday after not feeling baby move for most of the day and night...though I think it may have been the heat. We were outside most of the day and I didn't feel like moving much either! Luckily, a little watermelon and juice got the little one moving late Sunday morning.
Also - swollen ankles just suck. None of my shoes fit except for one pair of flip flops.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Cereal! And not in the morning - I HAVE to have it as my after dinner snack.
GTKY: What are your favorite Olympic sports to watch? (Stole from Sunday) I'm more of a Winter Olympics fan - love ice skating and skiing. But for Summer Olympics I like the diving, swimming and the gymnastics.

@LMNOBaby - the swollen ankles... I'm with ya on that one! Mine are under control here at home, thankfully. But I bought a pair of shoes while we were on the babymoon and had to go up a size so the strap around the ankle would fit (I may have mentioned that already lol). Good luck with your appt Wed!

Upcoming appointments? I moved to every other week with my last appointment so next one is next week. Just a pee-in-a-cup appointment though so nbd.
Rants/Raves/Questions? nada- shocking, I know.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? I'm getting SO much better about eating meat now. I actually ate a grilled chicken breast for dinner the other night... only my second this pregnancy and first that I didn't feel weird about part of the way through. Whoop whoop!
GTKY: What are your favorite Olympic sports to watch? (Stole from Sunday) ummm... don't come with pitchforks when I say this.... but I'm just not super interested in any of them. Maybe the gymnastics...some... because those tricks are crazy sometimes?
I watch because, come on, it's once every 2 years and it's the best of the best competing. But it's just not my favorite thing. I think it's because, although I'm competitive and LOVE to win at something, I don't mind losing. I love to rub a win in your face for just a moment

My baby shower on Saturday was so much fun and my best friend from home came over and just hung out all night with us. It was so much fun! It was one of those really good nights that was so random. We also got some amazing cheeseburgers for dinner, which is never a bad thing!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings?
So much movement from Baby B! Lower back aches if I am standing up too long. I keep waiting for BH, but so far none of that!

Soccer by far, but I also love gymnastics and swimming which I stayed up way too late for last night.

Upcoming appointments? I had or this morning. Heart rate was good. I feel like crap, but the baby seems to be doing fine.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My MIL is coming up for the week. It'll be great to have the help with my DD, but man the days are LONG when my H works. It doesn't help that we have some very fundamentally different beliefs, so safe conversation topics are a little hard. For example, she thinks western medicine is a sham and I'm a nurse. So I try not to get into certain topics with her because she is also very sensitive about her beliefs. She found out my niece was vaccinated and threatened to move out into the woods alone and never speak to anyone ever again. Ugh. Should be a fun week.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Had to go to the hospital for a bowel obstruction Friday. Dealing with the constipation and then that has been really difficult on me physically. My body is still pretty sore.

Rants/Raves/Questions? while I love my babies movements I really wish it would lay off my left side for a few days I have bruises and it hurts.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? No sugar for me so my Mars bar craving can't be given into.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Just generally uncomfortable. I have trouble getting from seated to standing and moving in general.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? I had several BH contractions over the weekend and a lot of pain when moving from laying to standing or moving in the bed. Baby feels really low. I'm still tired but made it through an entire weekend without a nap. I had night sweats a lot last week but that has calmed down.

What size is baby? Asparagus - but OB told me today he's weighing in at roughly 3lbs
Upcoming appointments? I had an OB check up today - baby's head down already which is a good sign.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Holy swollen ankles and feet! They actually hurt to bend at the end of the day. I mentioned it to my OB and she said its normal at this stage plus with this heat. It doesn't help this week it's suppose to get to 48'C (118.4'F) with the humidity and the place I work doesn't have AC. I drink A LOT of water, but this temp scares me!! I've emailed my bosses to set up a plan.
Rave: this is my last week of work and this Saturday is my baby shower so I'm excited!!
GTKY: What is your favourite Olympic sports to watch? I don't really care, but if nothing else is on, I'll throw in swimming, diving and gymnastics - or if there is something Canada is a favourite to win, I'll try to watch.

My sister came visit this weekend and basically set up my nursery for me. I had put away most things, but wasn't sure where to put all the blankets and pacifiers and some other things. She found places for everything and hung all the artwork and picture frames. It feels so good to have everything set up and put away. Now I just need to wash her clothes and make a few returns.

Of course I want all the sweets, but GD prevents me from eating most.

Rant - Stupid ortho office that basically won't treat me because I'm pregnant. They would rather not see me again until I give birth. But, I refuse to limp around for 12 more weeks! Hopefully my OB can help them see the light.
