Any other DH's with short attention spans?

I really think DH can just turn off his Daddy duties. It's like he gets in his 30 mins of time with DS after work and his "turn" is done because he needs to relax. If DS cries he'll say "I got him last time, it's your turn".

Any other DH's think they can just turn off being a Dad?  Does DH not realize that it's a 24/7 job? It's driving me crazy, especially since DS is growing so fast. I want DH to spend quality time with DS and I don't think he realizes how soon DS won't be a baby anymore.

    DH was like this a little while back then I freaked and gave him a big speech on how he only gets one shot at this and he's missing out on so many small but amazing things that you notice when you spend quiet time with ds and he has been great ever since., or should I say so far....

    I love that with the messy diapers, "I got the last one".  Huh, funny, I get them ALL DAMN DAY.  He picks up one late in the day and he's reach his quota?
