Rants/Raves/Questions?
Slightly freaking out after reading the PP supplies thread. I don't have my hospital bag packed yet and I have no clue as to what half those things are everyone is talking about, but it looks like a shopping trip is in order for me after work to get prepared!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Heartburn all the time. The other day it was so bad I ended up with a sore throat, after that I made sure I had Tums in my purse at all times.
GTKY: What was your favorite toy as a kid?
The outdoors. I was constantly outside playing in the woods and catching frogs or bugs. I would make "soup" out of pond water and grass clippings. Definitely grew up in a more country setting, I'm really hoping Bean plays outside as much as I did and isn't glued to a screen (I think I'm looking forward to catching frogs again and husband would rather Bean be a gamer, but he was a city kid lol).

My stupid dr.'s office didn't call me until after 5 yesterday about a test result and I wasn't by my phone. They didn't leave the results on my voicemail and I couldn't call back because it was after 5. Now I have to wait until Monday!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
The heartburn just keeps getting worse. No real cravings or aversions.
GTKY: What was your favorite toy as a kid?
Stuffed animals, but especially pound puppies. My daughter has inherited my love for stuffed animals.
What size is baby? An American football (preseason starts tomorrow - Go Pack Go!)
Upcoming appointments? Regular check-up on Tuesday.
Rants/Raves/Questions? We'll get our Amazon completion discount on Tuesday. (It's our second boy, so we aren't having a shower, so we just made a private registry for the discount.) I can't wait to buy our crib and the double stroller!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I'm with you, @nataliemaephotography - the heartburn is brutal. That and the peeing four to six times a night makes for a bad night's sleep.
GTKY: What was your favorite toy as a kid? We were pretty poor, so we didn't have a lot of toys. I do remember having a kids record player that I really liked. My sister, brother and I would have "shows" for our parents where we'd lip-sync to our records in our room. I'm sure they weren't bored out of their minds.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Only thing I'm really worried about with this birth is that the baby will come early and I'll have him at home really quickly, with my four year old attending. We just moved, so we don't really know anyone we could call to help. I'm hoping he will stay in until Grampy comes to stay with us. Other than that, I'm feeling really relaxed about this birth compared to my first's son's birth.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I can eat all the fruit, but am still not chancing the ice cream.
GTKY: What was your favorite toy as a kid? I liked our trampoline. It was so much fun and ate up hours of time during the day.

Upcoming appointments? just had one Thursday, a growth scan. Baby is large as I expected. 97th percentile for head and torso (see rant).
Rants/Raves/Questions? OB is already talking induction after my growth scan. I was worried it would come to this, and should've gone with my gut months ago. I'll probably be switching to the midwife that delivered dd..I would've gone with her in the beginning because we loved her, but she moved practices and I thought we'd be okay with an OB at the hospital where I delivered my first. Now that OB is discussing induction at 39 weeks, I'm not comfortable with the direction this is all heading.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Acid reflux when I lay down at night, hip pain, back pain, everywhere pain. Craving peanut butter toast with coffee, which is funny because coffee has been an aversion this whole pregnancy.
GTKY: What was your favorite toy as a kid? Teddy Ruxpin! I also really loved troll dolls.

Spontaneous nosebleeds can kick rocks. Heartburn still, and getting sore in my lower back and hips.

This coming Thursday for another cervical ultrasound. If it's any shorter than last time, I am prepared to be admitted. Not sure for how long or what they will do, though.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
My contractions are getting worse. The bigger I get, the more they are uncomfortable in different ways and places. Baby B (on my right) is higher up into my ribs, so those are bruised now and constantly in pain (in the front and back). I will say though, at 29 weeks pregnant with twins, I shaved my legs in the bathtub. Who's ya mama?
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
I crave ALL the sweets and will eat them as much as possible. That and cereal; something about the cold milk. I haven't really had any aversions but my sense of smell is much greater so bad smells just smell worse.
GTKY: What was your favorite toy as a kid?
I don't even remember. Barbie stuff, doll anything, play doh, my bike. Most of my childhood is a blur and I truly hope we can make our girls have a lasting memory of theirs.
@ashleyp625 Nosebleeds are so annoying. I know you've had them for awhile, I hope they go away for you soon.
@sjo_thetwins You've got super powers if you can still shave with twins, I'm doing good just to tie my shoes let alone shave!

Rants/Raves/Questions?
Only a half rant. DH volunteered our house as "home base" for bachelor activities this weekend. After a full day of coed activities 9am to 1130pm, I went to bed at midnight only to be woken up at 2-4 am by loud bass and partying when the festivities came back home. DH made up for it though by doing the meal plan, grocery shopping for the week, and cooking dinner so I could nap, relax and watch the Olympics.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
All the emotions/otter pops (just had to re-up our freezer stash)/not many aversions
GTKY: What was your favorite toy as a kid?
i loved my barbies, which is funny because I'm pretty much a tomboy.
