Upcoming appointments? Monday for a growth scan and Strep B test, oh joy.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I've been swimming at the gym almost every day and although it's hard to make myself go, once I get in that pool it's so worth it! (Haha this sounds like sex these days)
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Still experiencing pregsomnia. Most likely bc I fall asleep on the couch and then try to go to bed. I'm losing so much sleep each night by doing this and need to stop!
GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? ( I had to create this question because lately he's been driving me nuts and I know it's because I'm running on such a short circuit, anything will set me off!) I love how no matter what condition I am in (just woke up, haven't showered) he tells me how beautiful I am. He always makes me feel so happy. Currently he's prepping the nursery (putting up tongue and groove accent walls and crown molding). He's an awesome dad to DS and I know he will be the same with 2, especially a DD!
35 weeks. Home stretch!!! It's almost at the 30 day countdown.

OB on Friday, just routine check up
This baby was KILLING me yesterday. He was digging his feet into my ribs and it was so uncomfortable i was almost in tears.
I've been guzzling diet snapple all week.
I love him so much. He is my rock. I seriously can't wait to see him with our son. He is such a "man's man" but when we are alone he is very sweet and cuddly so I feel like I get the best of both worlds.
We are putting in the car seat tomorrow hopefully

Rants/Raves/Questions? This baby has gone down to almost non-existant movement. I still get enough movement that I feel everything is ok, but would really love more movement outside of when I prob it with something cold/sugary/ or laying on my leftside
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? I'm all about french onion soup right now. It's 90+ degrees out and i've had it twice this week.
GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO?
My DH is awesome. Early on in pregnancy it was simply a far off thing for him so he wasn't all 'into' the pregnancy like I was. I understand this is because his body isn't a constant reminder of it. But over the last two weeks he's gone into baby overdrive and is all about getting the babys room set up, making sure everything is ok. He even wants us to start putting together frozen meals so we don't have to focus on that when baby gets here. It's so cute.
What size is baby? Mini lop rabbit, bunch of carrots, two clafoutis, kid's backpack, pineapple, 17-20 inches.
Upcoming appointments? 36 week appointment next week. Have to discuss our birth plan (we're hippie hypnobirthers lol), ultrasound and all that stuff.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Things are coming together in the nursery. We're getting the rest of the stuff in the next few days and were pleasantly surprised to see that our family bought pretty much everything on our registry. I am so not looking forward to painting our crib and I'm hoping it turns out to be easier than I'm anticipating. Also, y'all, I weighed myself randomly last night after dinner and was like 7lbs up THIS WEEK. I haven't gained anything since week 26 so I was shocked, not it a good way. I have GD and am diet controlled so I was hoping to keep my weight gain in check. I'm definitely making a couple changes in my diet ASAP.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? I'm craving sweets like never before, which is weird because I was so put off by them all pregnancy. I can have them in moderation with the GD, at least.
GTKY: *TW previous loss mentioned* To me, my DH is the best man in the world. I think my favorite thing about him is how sweet and loving he is with me (and now with baby). We're very similar in most things (except temperament, that would be terrible) and I was surprised to see how he reacted to our loss last year. He and I both grieved together and I could tell he loved that LO as much as I did. I never felt weird talking to him about it as much as I did (which was a lot) and he never minimized my feelings. He's very sweet and loving to this LO as well and it constantly warms my heart, he already has about 20 pet names for her!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I've had a cold for the last 4 days and it just won't go away! I caught it from LO who is also still boogery and not sleeping well so b/t him waking up and my pregsomnia & congestion I feel like I haven't slept in a week.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Nothing sounds good to eat anymore or I just don't have the energy to think about what I want, but I'm ALWAYS hungry. I keep eating cereal and using all of LOs milk and then have to go back to the store for more milk. We need a cow.
GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? He is such an incredibly great dad. I knew he would be and I looked forward to having to kids with him even when we were just dating, but now to be able to watch him in action is heart melting
What size is baby? a 2 liter
Upcoming appointments? Had one today. Measuring on time, did the strep B test. Checked my cervix and I am closed, 50% thinned and soft. Now on weekly appointments!!!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Finished our last baby class last night! This weekend is all about getting some stuff for me, like a build your own 6 pack at total wine for after the baby comes

GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? DH is very honest and is never afraid to tell me the truth. He really is my best friend and I can talk to him about everything. He has been very supportive. He helps out a ton around the house, always makes sure I have a cold cup of water and puts all my stuff I need in a pile everyday so I don't forget things when I leave the house

Upcoming appointments? Hopefully my last appointment with my MFM Dr. on Monday! Fingers crossed for good growth scan and a transfer of care!

Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Mulberries and blueberries. Unfortunately the birds keep beating me to the mulberries, and the chickens beat me to the blueberries. Le sigh.
GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? How he (mostly) supports my brand of crazy and just rolls with it. He is preparing for little dude by being my on-call handy person and trying to keep me centered. Even when I decide to re-arrange the nursery furniture at midnight...

GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? How he is with out daughter and our nieces/nephews. Biggest turn on ever. We are pretty much prepared. I will install the car seat this week then I'm finished.

What size is baby? A pineapple. I feel like baby has been the size of the pineapple at least twice already.
Upcoming appointments? Had one last night and everything is going amazing! Baby is LOA with a heartbeat at 140. Moving lots. We are going to be doing weekly visits starting August 18th and they will all be home visits which will be soo awesome.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Happy that Baby is in position!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? My trusty ol' containers of Talenti ice cream have taken me through this pregnancy.
GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? He's hilarious and can make me laugh so easily. He takes his work seriously, but knows when to set it aside and work on family life. He is super, super excited about our first LO. I cannot wait to see him as a dad!

I weighed myself and I was suddenly 35 lbs lighter! Lol I wish it was real but I stepped back on and voilà the real weight appeared.
Upcoming appointments? Not until the 18th, which I thought was weird but whatever...my c-section is on 9/1, pre-op appt 08/30...so weird to have an end in sight!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I start back to work Monday....yikes...should be interesting since I have to unpack an entire classroom of stuff and just putting the stroller together gave me crazy contractions....we shall see....by the way, it's 8:40 and my first-born is just waking up!
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Contractions have been pretty obnoxious...that's pretty much it

Upcoming appointments? Had my 36 week yesterday, group B strep test, cervical check (1cm dilated and cervix is soft), I'll go every week from here on out.
Rants/Raves/Questions? We've finally gotten our act together in the nursery and some other to-dos. We *might* be able to finish everything this weekend if I don't run out of energy and lay in the recliner all Saturday.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? I've pretty much lost my appetite completely between heartburn, the heat and less room in my stomach.
GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? One of my favorite things about him is he's silly, spontaneous, and fun. I am pretty serious most of the time, and he keeps me laughing and reminds me to lighten up. He is always helpful, but recently he's started doing almost everything around the house, and encourages me to rest and relax and drink water instead of trying to help. Swoon.

Rants/Raves/Questions? We have our last birthing class on Sunday! Crazy. And I'm excited for my work baby shower next week, I'm hoping people come since they just announced it yesterday.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Just getting harder to get comfortable sitting, I shift around a lot and may start sitting on my yoga/exercise ball at work during my therapy sessions (usually I let the kids sit on it).

Too many things to list. I love his back massages and how he tells me he thinks I'm beautiful and sexy all the time. I love that he is excited to be a dad and I know he'll be a great one.
My daughter was the worst sleeper EVER from 4 mos-9 mos....like only slept for 1-2 hours at a time....so I paid my dues for sure
Yes, I'm changing schools this year and my new school is under construction, so can't get in until a week before school starts...then I'll be teaching a total of 10 days before going on leave...I wanted to maximize my time with baby, so I'm going on leave 2 days before the c section....I actually don't need to get a long term sub because our class sizes are really low, so they're splitting my kids into the other 2 classes so they can stay on track...so at least I don't need to write sub plans!!! That's my silver lining

Rants/Raves/Questions? OMG, the size of my ankles at work.... and that we are on yet another heat alert here in Ontario, Canada... hottest driest summer ever, of course.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Anything with ice in it!
GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? This is our first but he is an absolutely amazing dad to our fur baby. Hank has epilepsy and has been on meds since he was 6 months old. He is down to about one seizure a year now and had one just last night. I watched my hubby support and comfort him through it this time, and all I could see was what a great father he was going to be. He is starting to get excited now and it has been amazing to have him by my side for all of this.

What size is baby? Squash or head of lettuce. I don't get these things. At least it's better than asparagus.
Upcoming appointments? 2 weeks from today, which will be 3 weeks from my last. Then I go to every 2 weeks and then pretty quickly to every week from there!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Pelvic pain like woah. Rave: I love my new king bed more than I love chocolate. And that's saying something.
Symptoms/Aversions/Cravings? Pelvic pain, crazy restless legs, but I don't think I'm having any BH or anything yet. I guess I'd know if I was having them! My belly button is currently half in half out, so I find that kind of funny.
GTKY: What is something you absolutely love about your SO? How are they preparing for the new LO? DH is a big doofy goofy guy and I love that about him. In his professional life, he's a genius and is super serious, but in his personal life he's just a super goof and it's so endearing! He's really excited for this little girl, he has been reading a lot and he talks to her all the time!
