Transitional clothes - share your finds!

I have been scouring the internet for good ideas of what to wear while my bump is more bloat (ahem, burrito, maybe brownies) than baby and haven't found tons.  I thought maybe I could start this thread and we could all share the clothes we've found that have been saving us during this awkward clothes moment!  There have been some great sales on this summer so I've been able to catch most of these at a big discount.

I tend to gain weight around my middle anyway so I am typically on the lookout for things forgiving through the waist.  All of these are things that I think will be great after baby too when I'm in a similar situation of needing forgiving clothes.

For me, this JCrew dress has been everything.  I saw another friend early in her pregnancy wearing it and it's comfy, flowy, and hallelujah I can still wear in in size s (which is silly, but it helps).

Also this top is super gauzey, floaty, and really lightweight even for hot hot weather.  I went up a size for extra flowiness.

These pants are super forgiving, and I even sized down in them. (Clearly I hit up the sales at JCrew last week, for non JCrew stuff...)

This silk dress has been awesome in 95 degree days and I can wear it in my normal size still.

Anyway, this is just what's worked for me.  Let us know what awesome things you've found!

  • I cannot speak from experience but I'm hoping my LuLaRoe duds are pulling double duty in the near future.  Their clothes are versatile, flowy, soft and comfortable.  Anyone else on the LLR train??

  • Their stuff looks awesome!  Thanks for sharing!
  • @Schmoopie1 I just ordered some LuLaRoe cardis and tees. Not pregnant I am a SM, and the SM I just got in the mail will EASILY make it throughout the pregnancy. So excited about to order more.
  • Their business model is a little wonky and really not something I'd usually go for, but their clothes are so comfy and versatile, I'll look forward to using them when I'm finally pregnant too.  Not cheap, though!
