Ok, I'm feeling guilty for complaining so much this morning. So I know the majority of my family is great, and it could be so much worse! So Let's give a shout out to those family members that make having family and amazing experience!
A shout out to my sister, Yvette, she's 2 yrs older than me and always helped me out. This week, she is driving 5 hours to visit me and making 100 corn bread muffins for my giant party. Also, my mom, who insisted on paying for our BBQ meat that's being delivered.
I love my family, even when they drive me crazy.
Re: Reasons why I Love my family
Even though I did complain about FI today, I'm super grateful to have minimal drama on either side of our family. Today I'll thank my mom. She canceled a work meeting Saturday to go tour a house for me. And FaceTimed the whole way through the house so I could see every little thing. Even showed me the neighborhood and the most of the drive from her to place to what will hopefully be our new place. She's awesome
1. I'm pretty sure my mom sent me a bunch of maternity clothes, something she knows i haaaaate shopping for. (Motherhood has a great sale going on, and she said I have a package coming in a few days... putting 2 and 2 together, and knowing her, Im pretty sure of it.)
2. My husband surprised me with an amazing 3day trip to Niagara Falls for my birthday this weekend. It was so good I now feel guilty for not doing anything as nice for him for his birthday in April!
My dad is amazing and supportive and talked to me this morning at work as well.
My sister is 17 and has my back like a sweater even though we are nearly 13 years apart.
I'm thankful for these amazing people who love and support me and hold my hands when I'm having a bad day and truly listen and accept me. They're each such a gift.
And DH who has basically picked up 80% of the week night chores since I'm going to bed at 7.
Also to my parents. They have taken L for about 3 weeks this summer. When I was at my 3 conferences and my hospital stay. My dad is taking him tomorrow while I go for my post op check, and will make sure he gets taken care of if I have to go on bedrest/stay in the hospital.
L, is my last shout out. He is turning 1 on Thursday. He is wonderful and easy to take care of. This morning he slept until 9:30, allowing H and I to sleep in. He loves his baths, bouncers, and playing 'fetch' with the pups. He makes it easy to pass the time before going back to work.

Also S/O to my mama, we got to go visit her this past weekend and loved seeing her plus she's been a big help through FI's layoff. Hopefully we'll get to move closer to her sooner rather than later.
My parents are on vacation and gave DH and I all their veggies so now I have a ton of veggies to play with!
With my business trip coming up I let family up north know I'll be up and available after work. Several are making plans to meet up with me. It's a drive for some of them but they're willing to do it because they haven't seen me in forever.

DH's parents had us over for lunch on Sunday and they got had presents for us to thank us for making them grandparents! He's an only child and they are older, so they've been waiting a long time to be grandparents and they are just so excited. They got me a beautiful bracelet with an oak tree because it symbolizes little miracles and how big things come in small packages. Definitely teared up when I read the little card.
My mom has made the huge commitment to watch the baby after I go back to work! I am soooo thankful that I don't have to worry about finding and paying for day care on top of everything else. It will be good to know that our little guy is with family all day while I'm working.
My mom bought me two of my favorite nursing bras ... Which is one more than I really need... So I think I'll exchanging to for something else!
I've had a bad headache all day and my toddler did her poop in the crib routine. This often makes me sick to clean up... On a good day. My oldest two kids offered to clean it up, with out me even asking. And helped me get her in a bath... I'm mean... Who has an 11 and almost 10 yo who will willingly clean up poop and help their mama that way??? So humble and thankful!
