Breastfeeding issues!

I've been successfully breast feeding my 9 month old with no problems until now! I was feeling really lucky! Now my right nipple just is in constant pain! Even just being a bra is irritating. I don't know what happened or if my daughter is especially rough on that side but I swear I almost black out whenever my daughter latches. A few weeks ago I had a clogged duct that we passed pretty quickly but since then the nipple has been sore and swollen. I've been using the UpSpring Well Mom Nipple Balm  that I received for free from Influenster and it soothes it temporarily but I need a permanent solution! Any advice is welcome even a potential diagnosis. Don't need to go to a doctor if so what Doctor do I go to?

    Go to your ob to have it looked at. Could be nothing or it could be infected. Teething can also make latch off and vs

    My son bit me awhile back.  I ended up with a plugged duct and a very sore nipple for quite sometime.  Not sure what's going on with yours but try nursing in different positions.  The different latch might be the relief you need to heal from whatever is going on.  It definitely helped while I was healing up.  I also put a hot wet cloth on my nipple, but it never stayed hot for long enough, so I put a hot cloth with a heating pad overtop.  The wet heat is much better than the dry heat.  I feel your pain on having no problems up until now.  I felt like we hit a roadblock out of nowhere.  Power through momma!
