I was looking at pictures from the end of my pregnancy and when LO was newborn and thought it would be nice for all of us to share those memories! It seems so long ago already!
When I took my 40 week bump photo and less than two hours later my water broke . . . When I finally got to snuggle my little love in the recovery room after the emergency c-section . . . When Daddy held him in the NICU and he just looked so little . . . When he was way too small for his 0-3 month snowsuit . . .
When we dressed him in his adorable"going home" outfit and he had an up the back poo on the way home so we had to immediately change him when we got home . . .
When Nana clearly offended his great ancestors... When he heard strange space sounds . . . When he was "Blue Steeling" in the pediatrician's office . . . And, of course, when Daddy kissed him one too many times and he made this face!
Like you, I took my 40 week pic then my waters broke a couple of hours later! 4 hours later I was holding her in my arms! Seems so long ago now!
The other pic I added reminds me of constant sleeping and snuggles...That doesn't happen anymore! (Also, it shows her awesome storm trooper outfit from her uncle!)
How are they almost (and some already!!) 6 months!?!?
The "extra half scoop of ice cream" (as my brother calls it) from Ellie being turned posterior and taking 3 hours to push out. Her first bath when she was sooooo teeny. The last one pretty much sums up months 1-4.5. She was NOT pleased with me 95% of the time after the newborn phase. She's so happy now! I didn't realize babies were this much fun! (I frankly thought many of you were lying or exaggerating).
It so weird how our family of three went to a family of four so easily! It feels like Avery has always been here with us! I was so nervous and prayed the transition to have more would be a joy and I can honestly say I would not change a thing! I cannot wait for the next stage. We were not planning on having more than two babies, but Avery has changed our minds!
These six months have gone by far too fast this was the night before induction at 37 weeks after three weeks of hospital bed rest ! I was so nervous and so ready she was so tiny !!!! We are still in such awe After struggling with secondary infertility for six years it still feel so surreal !!! We are so blessed
Can't believe we are coming up on 6 months since this sweet boy came into our lives. The last bump pic was taken at 38 weeks, 2 days before he was born. From 8lbs 13oz to almost 20lbs, he is growing so fast!
