Can a FET date change?

Hi all! I was wondering if a fet is always exaclty 19 days after the start of estrogen. Can it be before or after? If so, what would be the reason?
Thanks!!

Re: Can a FET date change?

  • Mine got pushed back as my lining hadn't responded very well to the estrogen so I went an extra week. My RE said the only time the clock starts ticking is once you start the progesterone as the transfer is always on the 6th day for a blast (so 5 days of PIO in my case)

  • Mine almost always got pushed back because I took so long to respond fully to the meds. I never get a firm date until after my lining gets up to 8mm.

  • Same here. My date was pushed back a week so my lining could thicken up
  • My last FET was CD22.  Good luck!
  • Ok thanks all for your answers!! I'm just getting impatiente!!
  • Mine was based on the clinic availability... I haven't been checked since Friday when I was told I was good for transfer tomorrow. Thought it was a little weird but when I started they gave me the calendar and told me my day 1 may not actually be day 1 for the clinic as they may adjust for availability

  • I read that it stop growing when you start the progesterone so you should be fine!
