How are you feeling? Absolutely terrible. I caught some kind of virus from DD, and have been having contractions on and off since Monday afternoon. They aren't regular or intense so I never went into L&D. I'm pretty sure I'm having prodromal labor for whatever reason. I never had this with DD1. I have sore throat, aches, congestion, and intense weakness all over my body. I can only stand or walk around for about 10 minutes before BH start up and I have to sit down.

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow I have my 36 week checkup and growth u/s (thank god!)

Rants/Raves/Questions: Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing prodromal labor. It is so mentally and physically exhausting.

GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme? most of them creep me out. Spiders harassing little girls, abusive mothers who live in shoes, and cradles falling out of trees? F*ck that noise. Don't even get me started on what "ring around the rosy" is really about.

Happy World Breasrfeeding Week!!!

What size is baby? Squash

How are you feeling? On top of the normal, in the past week I've developed lower back pain, belly aches, headaches

Upcoming appointments? Friday we are meeting with the maternity care coordinator then a regular OB appointment

Rants/Raves/Questions: I already raved about my birth class in the randoms thread. If any of you have suggestions on resources re: natural birth/birthing positions I would love to hear them. Other than that I feel like we are starting to get things figured out. I ordered my breast pump yesterday and we got our stroller. We have a Baby Q with friends this weekend which I'm excited about.

GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme? I don't know if it's considered a nursery rhyme but Kookaburra

ETA: Slippery Fish. My best friend who lives in Hawaii introduce this one to us apparently all Hawaiian children learn it by preschool age

How far along? 33 weeks

What size is baby? a junior tennis racket. feels more like a regular tennis racket and my organs (stomach and bladder) are the balls.

How are you feeling? Not good!! Was up for hours and hours last night with the worst reflux, gagging all night. My body aches so badly and was having cramp like feelings for the first time, is this BH? I'm not sure.

Upcoming appointments? Friday

Rants/Raves/Questions: Exhausted. I love my job but not so sure I can keep doing 9 to 5 until the end. It is exhausting and then I don't have energy to do anything at home (clean/cook/walk dog/do pilates/etc etc) and everything falls on my husband or doesn't get done.

GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme? Seriously brain dead today and can't think of any???? The three little bears?

@jbscmama I'm sorry you are having terrible reflux. I wish I would help you on the BH but I am not sure if I'm having them myself

Thanks @AmMcc12! I have actually improved a lot since this morning. Even put on makeup and ventured out of the house, which would've been impossible yesterday.

Also, where are all the other Wednesday ladies??

Sorry, I'm so tired that I can't think straight. Work lasted forever. I have to do preschool drop off and pick up and probably bedtime the next two nights.

Upcoming appointments? Monday for OB. Tuesday at the hospital to complete all paperwork.

How far along? 35 weeks!

What size is baby? Pineapple and he feels like one too!

How are you feeling? Alright...just super swollen just like I got with DS1, tired, and the baby has had his butt wedged right in my rib cage on my left side for the past 2 weeks. It is sooo painful!

Upcoming appointments? Had an ultrasound yesterday to check on baby's growth. Everything looks good and baby is a whopping 5 lbs 12 oz already (which seems big to me for a 35 weeker but is apparently only 55th percentile!). DS1 was 5 lbs 13 oz at the same gestational age so I am expecting another 8 lb baby--yikes! The doctor said they would expect him to be high 7s/low 8s when he is born.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Just starting to feel nervous about delivery. I had a bilateral sulcus tear last time which is a pretty rare but really really painful type of tear. My doctor said it usually doesn't happen again and I just really hope it doesn't!

GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme? I guess Wheels on the Bus? Does that count or is that more of a song?? It was the only thing that worked to soothe DS1 into taking a bottle so we have sang a lot of that song in this house!

How are you feeling? Sore and achy, but other than that fine.

Upcoming appointments? Next Wednesday.

Rants/Raves/Questions: this is totally ridiculous and I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I'm feeling a little, I don't know, jealous? Of the ladies experiencing BH and other signs that their body is gearing up for labor. I know I'm relatively early but last time my water just broke and nothing else happened, and I ended up with a c-section. I don't want that again and jut want some sign that yes, my body can actually do this.

GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme? It's a song but right now it's the classic old McDonald because DD sings the eieio part ands it's so cute. I'm going to have to look up kookaburra again because I can't even remember the words to that one. @TheTamedShrew, I feel the same way. I seriously can't even sing 'ring around the Rosie' because I only think of where it started.

@drmh22, if it makes you feel any better, I never had any signs of labor until the actual day I went into labor with DD1. I really don't know why I'm having these way early contractions this time around, but I did read that prodromal labor or false labor is more common with subsequent pregnancies. Regardless, they aren't fun at all. I'm already 3 weeks ahead of you too, so you could very well have some stuff happening in your final month, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Also had no signs of labor until the day I had my daughter. And have only had sporadic BH here or there this time when I overdo it.

Rants/Raves/Questions: My DD is at an age where she keeps going through my stuff and keeps bringing it to me and acting like its a favor. She will dump my purse on the floor and bring every individual object to me and insisting that I hold it no matter where I am or what I doing. She "helped" me fold laundry yesterday by destroying all the folded baby clothes piles, putting them back in the hamper, and "folding" each onsie individually by putting it on the coffee table and patting it. I can't handle how little I am able to accomplish in a day. I
move like a cruise ship and she moves like a jet ski. I can't keep up.

GTKY: What is your favorite nursery rhyme?
My Bonnie lies over the ocean or a bicycle built for two if songs count.

@KimmySchmidt my DD is 20 months and is all about helping lately. The list of things that I can do while she's awake has drastically gone down because I need to be in the right mindset of taking 3x as long do do tasks.

@drmh22 I have days like that with BH jealousy and posted about it in the BTDT thread yesterday. I'll probably bring it up with my OB on Friday as well for more reassurance.
