This is a weekly check-in for those in their 1st trimester: weeks 1 through the end of week 13. I know we've all gone through a lot to get to this point so congratulations and best of luck to all of you over the next several months!

Our next appointment isn't until August 10th. So hard to wait! I was jumping around a little bit in puddles yesterday and then today I jumped again (like three times), and it's like "oh yeah, I shouldn't be doing that." I'm sure it's fine when it's just a few jumps and not like I worked out jumping around for an hour, but it's really hard not to worry about EVERYTHING.

QOTW: Aside from just totally being excited about having a baby, I am looking forward to setting up the nursery. I've enjoyed watching my little bump grow so far.

It's so weird to not give a CD update in the matter of the cycle date. I'm so used to doing that. I'm currently waiting for my 6 wk u/s on 8/2. My anxiety is growing by the day hoping nothing is wrong with this LO. I haven't had many symptoms. I have the tingling boobs, fast heart rate, frequent peeing, being light headed, and tired, but no nausea. I guess that's a good thing. I didn't have any morning sickness with my DS. Although, I can't tell if it's the PIO that is causing these symptoms or the pregnancy. I think I'm just overwhelmed by the worry and the 2nd trimester can't come soon enough! The torture!

QOTW: I'm looking forward to feeling the fluttering and the turning of the baby inside me. I enjoyed the connection so much with my DS, I hope I get to experience it again. Right now, I'm enjoying the excitement and anticipation of being pregnant. And the no nausea too!

QOTW: I'm looking forward to feeling the babies move, and officially finding out what we're having. I'm actually enjoying my whole pregnancy. I enjoy seeing our babies at each ultrasound and can't wait for my anatomy scan.

Hi ladies! I haven't posted in a little while. I had my 1st pregnancy us at 6 weeks and it was super awesome to se our tiny baby and a strong heartbeat. The Dr. saw a small area of bleeding (sub chorionic hematoma) and warned me that I may spot and as long as it's dark and not a lot I would be ok. Just a couple hours later I was at work and started cramping quite a bit along with a good amount of bright red blood. I panicked, went back to the Dr. and was relieved to know that baby was ok, but the SCH was now larger. I was told to go home and rest. Thankfully I am now at the end of week 8, had 2 more us and everything looks good, no more bleeding at all.
At week 7 nausea kicked in and it's pretty intense, everyday around 5pm. Dinner time is torture, and in general nothing is appetizing. I'm still making sure I get good nutrition but it's not easy!
But even with all this I could not be happier!! I can't wait to start feeling kicks and to finally hold my baby

@chicandbubbly I saw you also have a SCH, how are you doing?

Hey ladies! This is my last week in the first tri board!! I'll miss you ladies but I'll see you all in 2nd tri. Woot woot!

QOTW: I am definitely the most looking forward to feeling our baby girl move! As far as what I enjoy - I guess just the idea of being pregnant! Honestly, even with the growing blump, morning sickness fatigue and everything else, it still feels surreal. I can't wait to have a real bump!

Hi ladies!!! I had my first visit with my OB nurse for a HH last Friday and have my first exam with my OB this Friday. My nausea is still there, but (dare I say!) it seems to be getting better!!! Not all day every day anymore, but definitely still there.

QOTW: I'm going to be honest - I haven't enjoyed pregnancy much yet. I've just felt awful so I'm desperately waiting for my 2nd trimester when I'm likely to feel much better. But I will admit that having the nausea is probably the only thing keeping my anxiety at bay. As long as it's there I know everything is still ok. I haven enjoyed seeing the baby on the ultrasound. I don't know how I'll adjust to not having ultrasounds every ten days! Like @wishingforluck I'm most looking forward to feeling the baby move and finding out the gender!!

@chicandbubbly How is your SCH and your nausea?

@dragonfaerie I know what you mean! I played volleyball this weekend and was a total basketcase after. But I'm sure we're fine.

@pdbird I feel your anxiety!!!! I didn't have the constant nausea until week 7, and I was an anxious mess for the three weeks prior because I had no signs that everything was ok (other than horrible constipation!). And now I'm willing the nausea to go away so I can be a functional human being!!! The second trimester will be here before we know it!

@yelllow22 I'm glad everything is ok! I know everyone is different, but I am coming up on week 11 and my nausea is decreasing and my appetite is returning. Hopefully it's almost over for you too!!!

@yellow22 sorry you are also dealing with a SCH- not fun for sure. I had a similar experience- we saw mine at the 6 week ultrasound and that night I had minor bleeding and then again on July 8th I had bright red blood, everything was fine with baby and he/she is growing normally with a good heartbeat. I haven't had any bleeding since then although this morning I randomly have some light brown (almost tan color) spotting. I have gotten it checked about every 1-2 weeks and the last ultrasound showed it had grown larger.

I go in today and I am hoping it has shrunk! Both my RE and my midwife emphasize that it is common and that I shouldn't be concerned, but still how could I not be. I was put on pelvic rest when we first discovered it (no sex, no exercise, no lifting) and I have been keeping things pretty low key. I hope it disappears for both of us soon!

@nurseTMD85 can't remember if I posted about it here or another group but OMG get seabands! My nausea is pretty much gone since Friday when I started wearing the seabands. I also have been taking vitamin B6. Last time I threw up was Thursday, and it had been 1-10+ times a day since 6 weeks, seriously they are amazing. (Only $7 bucks on amazon so worth a try).

@chicandbubbly I have heard of the seabands but they didn't really work for me when I was actually seasick on my cruise last year. So I kind of wrote them off. I'm still having some nausea, but it's not nearly as bad as it was so I may just ride it out.

@yelllow22 Glad to hear that your little one is doing well! I definitely had more trouble at dinner time than I did any other time of day. Basically I just ate what sounded good and when I actually felt hungry during the day I would eat the healthy things. Sorry to hear about your SCH, but I'm glad that there hasn't been any further spotting. Good luck and I hope that you get your appetite back soon!

@NurseTMD85 I know what you mean, I hate feeling nauseous but the one day I didn't I started worrying lol glad you are having less nausea though!

@chicandbubbly Hope your appointment went great today! Not worrying is not easy at all but it's great to hear that so far you are doing good too. The morning of my first pregnancy us I had gotten clearance to workout and was excited to get back in track... Then just hours later pelvic rest for me too, and of course now I'm paranoid about doing anything. I'll feel better when I hit the 2nd trimester

@dragonfaerie thanks! For the sake of my marriage I hope my appetite comes back too, deciding what to eat is torture... Poor DH lol

Appointment went well today! Baby looks perfect- grew a lot since last ultrasound and was waving at us! Looked like a little gummy bear lol. The bleed is still there but it had shrunk and my RE said it was stable whatever that means. Anyways I am happy! She thinks it will disappear completely soon. I am still going to stay on pelvic rest tho until it is gone. Also i was supposed to be going to a wedding in a few weeks but I am not allowed to fly, oh well. I am officially moving on from the RE's office!! I am sad, I love my RE she is such a sweetheart.

I just realized tomorrow is my last day on the first trimester board. I am moving on to the 2nd trimester on Friday. Woohoo!

I am starting to get really nervous. I've had no symptoms besides mild cramping and just overall worried something is wrong. It's all in my head, but can't shake it until I see my blob on Tuesday. I get to the point that I forget I'm even pregnant. Did anyone else have the same experience?

@pdbird I was the same way! Aside from just being tired, I hardly had anything for several weeks and I definitely could get busy and almost forget. Hugs, it's all good there. I'm glad you have an appointment soon!

Hi ladies! I remember so many of you from the Infertility board and it's awesome to be able to join you all here! Still can't quite believe I'm really pregnant! My EDD is March 28th, but I'll confirm that at my first u/s this Thursday (6 weeks). I had severe MS last week while on vacation (@chicandbubbly sea bands were a life saver!) but symptoms have mostly gone away now so it's got me a little anxious (@pdbird I'm totally with you!) and Thursday can't come soon enough so that I can have some peace of mind.

QOTW: I also can't wait to hear babies heartbeat and watch him/her grow through throughout the pregnancy. The whole idea that there is a growing human that DH and I made inside of me is just amazing and I'm so excited for what's to come!

@emgem819 - I think you mentioned it and I could totally be losing it, but realized we have the same EDD (well, that's based on the https://www.ivf.ca/fet3dayduedate.php website). I'm going to see what the doctor says tomorrow. I feel like a kid at Christmas time waiting to see if anything is under the tree. I'm trying to hold back my excitment so I don't disappoint myself, but it's getting harder. Let me know how Thursday goes!

@dragonfaerie - Thank you for reassuring that someone else had the same feelings.

BTW, does anyone know if you're supposed to go to your first U/S with a full bladder? The nurse didn't mention anything in my reminder call for the appointment, but I feel like someone told me I should. I know I did for my FET. Just curious.

@pdbird For your first couple of u/s, baby is really small so they will do internal u/s and you do not need a full bladder. That being said, they may need a urine sample, so I would I go with a full bladder and they will let you know what they need.

@pdbird that's awesome we have the same EDD! Good luck tomorrow and please keep us updated. I'm sure everything is fine. I just went to see my acupuncturist and she said everyone has different symptoms and they can vary from day to day or week to week so I wouldn't worry! She also did a pulse test which is supposed to predict if it's a boy or girl...if the higher pulse on the right it means a girl, if it's the left it's a boy. Mine was higher on the left so signs point to a boy! She's been 7 out of 7 so far so I guess it's pretty reliable but DH is super skeptical. As long as it's healthy I have no preference!

I have a feeling it's a boy. I just instantly started calling him my little guy one day and had to stop. Then I looked at the Chinese gender chart which was correct with my DS, and it says I'm to have a boy. So time will tell. But there is my prediction!

@dragonfaerie thank you for the info. It's been almost 6 years since I've done this so I'm out of practice.

Has as anyone been having chills? I have them off and on. Of course, I go to Dr. Google and it says there could be possibility of being anemic. So I made a flank steak tonight! But I plan on asking the doc tomorrow. I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes.

Hello, hope you ladies don't mind me joining you! I posted a intro thread, but will tell you a bit about myself here as well. I just had my second round of FET on 7/20 and transferred 2 embryos, well, I had my beta today at 12dp5dt and it was 712!! My EDD as of right now is 4/7/17. I go back for my second beta on Thursday. I know that I should remain a positive spirit, but I'm a wreck at times moving from one milestone to the next. Anyway, I'm looking forward to witnessing each and everyone of yours' successful, happy, and healthy next 9 months (give or take)!!

Lurking from 3rd trimester....

The worry will always be there. However, the further along you are, the milestones you hit, the better you will feel. Especially after you start feeling the baby move, it's a daily reminder that your baby is ok. The best advice anyone gave me was to just try to enjoy each day that you are pregnant. Don't know if this helps anyone, but it is ok to be worried, just try not to let the worry overshadow the joy.
