This is for my fellow Team Green ladies! My husband and I were talking and for some reason we both sort of feel like we might be having a boy. We will be happy either way, obviously; this is just a--if I had to really guess, I think it's a boy.
Anyone else have a gut feeling?!
Re: Team Green: Do you feel like you have a gut feeling if it's a boy or girl?
Ill really be feeling shocked if this baby is a boy, and then I'll feel really stupid to feel shocked. Because It's totally irrational to just feel it will be one over the other. I'm usually SUCH a rational person. I rarely act intuitively.
People ALWAYS ask if I have a feeling either way, and I always say no. Because I know it's totally stupid and they're just being polite anyway.
@KimmySchmidt Don't feel stupid for being surprised. My cousin had this gut feeling she was having a boy and was extremely surprised when she had a girl. Of course it's always a 50/50 chance, but sometimes the feeling is so strong that when it's the opposite, it really is shocking.

Earlier this pregnancy, I thought it was a boy, but now I'm thinking girl. It could be because my younger daughter always refers to the baby as "bay-bee sisser". If you ask if she's getting a brother or sister, it's always sister. She's gotten into my brain. This pregnancy isn't terribly different from my others. I think I was slightly less sick than the first two, except for my migraines. They have been out of control this pregnancy. I can't wait to find out. I've been pretty patient, but it's getting to the point where I just want to know!
This time, I want a girl (because that's what I'm comfortable with, we already have an entire wardrobe, and I want to give DD a sister) but a boy would be great, too. My gut has said girl all along but I do waver (I'm much less "confident" in my gut feeling than I was with DD - but, really, how confident can you be?) This pregnancy has been very different from my first which has me second-guessing and wondering if it might be a boy. Plus, everyone says it looks like I'm carrying a boy...but they all said that with DD, too.
@KimmySchmidt I also brush people off anytime they ask if I have a feeling one way or the other. Partially because it's silly but also because I have this irrational fear of "jinxing" something. I almost didn't even respond to this thread for that reason, haha. (Though I absolutely know that is a completely ridiculous fear...)

Everyone tells me, it's a girl but I really just want to give them a sarcastic answer like yes, the odds are in your favor, 50/50 chance you are right!
We have a lot of boys in our family, so honestly I'll be surprised if it's a girl. Right now my daughter is the only granddaughter on my parent's side. I feel like we're destined to be a family of boys, lol.
But that really doesn't mean anything. I'm kind of hoping for my daughter's sake that she has a sister, but I will be very happy either way, obviously.

But I wouldn't worry about nameberry, they only log searches. People may just be looking it up more. Which wouldn't be so bad. Might lead to fewer people mispronouncing it as is-la. #silverlining
Side note - a friend of mine from highschool just named her daughter isla! I looooove that name though. Go with it!

Names were surprisingly easy this time around. We have full name for a boy, but have yet to talk about a middle name for a girl.
Im hoping for happy surprises for all of you Team Green'ers. We're getting so close
