Have any of you noticed your linea nigra yet? I definitely noticed a faint line when I was taking a bath.. For whatever reason it made me excited!
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like?
I am interested to see what baby will look like. We picked our anonymous sperm donor with DH traits in mind but just because you pick someone who has blonde hair and blue eyes doesn't mean they look like you.. The only thing I can picture is a little me. Full disclosure: I was an ugly baby but adorable toddler.

Whats going on this week? DH said he is going to paint the nursery which is very exciting - but let's see if he follows through on this.

GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like? Idk. DH and I both have very strong genes. Like my brothers and I all look the same and so does he and his sisters. I'm hoping she has my eyes and hair though.

Whats going on this week?
Nothing baby-related. I have a urology appointment for my kidney stones tomorrow, and they'll use an ultrasound to look at them. Soooo I'll probably get a little peek at babs while they're in there.

Nothing that I haven't put in the symptoms thread regarding this serious RLP. My lady parts hurt!
On the plus side, I am feeling DD2 move a ton, despite the anterior placenta. DH has finally felt her a couple of times too.
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like?
No clue. DD1's face looks a lot like DH, but when she smiles it's more like me. She's got my curly blonde hair, and she's really petite-framed like me too. She's a good mix of us though. People seem to go back and forth in saying who she looks like. I can't imagine what DD2 will look like. It kind of baffles me that she won't be a replica of DD1. So weird. A totally different baby.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Trying to pull myself out of a Monday funk....just in an anxious sort of mood. I need to get busy with work and forget about it.
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like? I have no idea, but I hope she has my blue eyes and looks nothing like my FIL. I know, that's so mean, but my FIL is not my favorite person.

How big is baby? pomegranate, baby bok choy, least weasel, baseball hat, large brioche a tete (some fancy bread thing). The Bump says an Endive, but that was last week on one of my other apps.
Whats going on this week? Not much. It's a very uneventful week, which is OK. We have some early maternity pics on Saturday, so still trying to figure out what to wear. I also have a mani/pedi scheduled for Thursday that I am looking forward to. Mainly the pedi, as it's been awhile and I hate trying to do them now.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My hair has gotten so gross. Where are these lustrous locks they talk about? It's straight and super flat, no matter what volumizing products (shampoos/mousse) I use. I guess what I have been using for the last 2-3 years just doesn't cut it anymore. It's actually fine when I super curl it (mainly on weekends), but when it's just flat ironed under (the ends, mainly)... it's hopeless and I want to shave my head. It also doesn't like any place that I part it at, so that's a struggle every morning. I parted my hair in the same spot for YEARS and in the last year, nothing works anymore as a cowlick decided to show up. It also doesn't help that I have been trying to grow out side swept bangs for the last 2-3 years. No joke. They just don't grow and look awkward all the time. I could easily fit into those back to school pics at my age, ha. #firstworldproblems
Also, I went to update my sig for the new month and accidentally deleted one of my tickers. I went to get it back, but for some reason The Bump doesn't like it's own embedded options.
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like? No idea actually. We are hoping for a combo of both, but who knows. I didn't look like either of my parents as a baby, and DH looked like his dad. DH has had hair loss since he was 21, so we're hoping he gets my hair (although flat as mentioned above), it's still there. DH has these great blue eyes though... and an adorable butt.

Not about pregnancy - but the news feels so sad to me lately! A good friend of my dads (both are pilots) died flying his plane last Thursday which has really hit him hard. 5 people died in an interstate crash last night, Sam Foltz of a town not far from me (Nebraska Husker's punter) died in a car accident a week ago. This is all just Nebraska!
About pregnancy- All the ice cream lately! Thanks to whoever posed about the 3-2-1 mug cake. That has helped me get a not quite so terrible treat in from time to time. Add a scoop of ice cream and bam, pure bliss. Also, I'm excited (but not in a super hurry about rib kicks) for DH to feel baby. Every time I tell him I'm feeling LO inside me DH wants to feel for movement, even though he can't yet. It's so cute.
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like?
DH all the way. We were both born with hardly any hair and then turned cotton white blonde as toddlers. I picture a little bald then blondie boy with my husbands button nose and hopefully not his crooked toes.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I finally figured out that if I drink some Gatorade during the day that it really helps with my headaches.
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like? When DS and DD were born they both looked like me. I had tons of hair and so did both of my kids. However by 2 months DS started to look like DH and now at 4 he really looks like DH. DD at 22 months still looks like me
Edit: I am super excited for the Olympics to start on Friday!

Whats going on this week? I have to do a glucose test tomorrow. I'm not super happy about it because the dr wants me to do one at 28 weeks as well. She meant to have me do them at 16 and 28 weeks but because she was called to a delivery at my 16 week appointment her backup forgot to tell me. I just think it is silly to do two in 6 weeks. But she is the dr and I guess it is better to know if there is an issue now.
Other than that I a very excited for our yearly trip to Indianapolis this week for GenCon (awesome nerd convention). Especially not knowing what next year will be like I'm determined to have a great time this trip!
Rants/Raves/Questions? @cayaylonglegs - no linea nigra for me but hair. On my stomach. It is very disturbing. It is dark and grows super fast. I normally have almost no body hair at all and what I do have is light, fine and very sparse. So this is totally weirding me out.
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like? Both my BF and I have similar coloring. Very light skin, blue eyes. We both have thick super straight fine hair. So I suspect she will manage to look like both of us at the same time! Lol.

Whats going on this week? We just had out AS this morning. It was so fun to see baby moving around. And we found out we are having a GIRL!!!! It all feels so much more real now.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Things are going pretty well. I love feeling tiny kicks and movements from baby. Not loving the recent appearance of a few stretch marks, but oh well.
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like? I'm betting baby will have blue eyes, as DH and I both have blue eyes. But you never know, SIL has gorgeous green eyes, so that's a possibility, too. Can't wait to meet her and find out.

How big is baby? A sports water bottle, an ear of corn, a coconut, a Guinea pig, or some sort of fancy French dessert that I can't remember the name of but swear it looked like flag-nards.
Whats going on this week? Went today for another specialist appointment and got another peek at Little Dude. He's adorable and looks great and so do I. He even tapped his foot and toes up against me like you would if you were jamming out to a song. So cute. He is very wiggly and has been more and more noticeable every day despite having an anterior placenta.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm on cloud 9 so no rants at all. Nothing but ravin' over here with my toe-tappin' baby!
Who asked the linea nigra question? I don't have it but can second the hairy belly one. I've got really dark hair and have always had to shave my belly too but this is on a whoooooole new level.
GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like? We have gotten many peeps at him and each time I try real hard to see (because some of them have been 3D of his face). So far I have no real idea but he might have my nose and DH's plump lips! I hope he has DH's sweet little boy face. He was a PRECIOUS baby omg.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Had my first baby shower this past Saturday! It was lovely, but I was surprised no one gave us diapers or bottles--that's what I was told to be prepared to get the most of. But I'm not complaining because we got our expensive jogging stroller, an Ergo360, and some other things we needed! We now have 3 baby gyms, haha.

DH has dark brown hair and blue eyes, so I think a boy or girl would look gorgeous. I would love it if we had a girl with red hair (like me) and blue eyes like DH. But we'll see.

Whats going on this week? Not a whole lot... still unemployed and searching for a new job, so that's been fun. I'm also starting to show a lot more, which is actually really exciting. Now instead of looking like I had a big lunch or have gained a little bit in the love handle area, I have the beginnings of a serious baby bump! I'm also starting to feel more movement - hoping husband will be able to feel soon!

GTKY: What/who do you think little one will look like? Well, since she's a girl, I'd much rather have her look like me than her father! He's handsome but he definitely looks like a dude. I do hope she gets his green eyes and blonde hair though. My eyes and hair are both brown, but my dad has blue eyes and was a toe head so I think there's a shot! I'm also hoping she has husband's hair texture. Mine has been challenging my entire life. Not quite curly, but not straight. Unless I do something with it, it just looks messy... and not in the cute, beachy way.
