Got some loving in with the hubby since we got prego. He was so happy I think he wanted to cry, everything went well until afterwards when the braxton hicks crap started. So worth it though, he brought me lime sherbet in bed to help make me feel better with the contractions :P i call it a MASSIVE win
DH got the nesting bug this weekend...and got 75% of the baby's room complete!!! My win is that with everything going on this weekend and an emergency visit to the ER/Hospital for my dad, I didn't completely lose it and managed to stay pretty sane the whole weekend. I'll take that win!
My nephew's 2nd birthday party was yesterday and SIL scheduled it from 12-2...anyone with a toddler should know better than this. So DD ended up not napping at all, which can either be wonderful at bedtime or a complete disaster. It was wonderful! She fell asleep while we were still reading books and then slept all night. Definite win!!!!
All the baby stuff is washed. One load needs to be folded and put away still. The cribs are up and the sheets and bumpers are on. Eek! Almost there! Unfortunately, I can not count my shaving encounter as a win.
Did a 3 hour labor and birthing class at our hospital this weekend which was great. Had diner with my dad for the first time since April. Packed my hospital bag and installed car seats.

H came back from a trip on Friday and on Saturday we did a late celebrating our anniversary. The food was good but the place was a trip. It felt like we stepped into the late 80s Italian restaurant; the whole staff were old Italian men, very professional and dressed up. We actually cooked two really nice meals ourselves. On Sunday we went swimming, I liked swimming before but love it now. It is amazing to feel so weightless and cool.
Got the carseat padding washed yesterday, and it's currently drying outside right now. Also ordered a carseat canopy (a very little thing, but again, one less thing on the list).
We had a very busy weekend in general, but at this point, my biggest wins seem to be anything we get done in prep for the baby.
Set up the crib, took our birthing class and hospital tour, drafted a birth plan to talk about with OB today, and yes, I shaved my legs . We were supposed to go to the pool with some friends, but it thundered all weekend. Instead, I got to spend it in air conditioning holding my friend's 4-week old, so that's a win, too!
We have furniture in our nursery! And we are currently waiting for the glider to arrive and the big things in the room will be done. It's exciting and, like I said in Randoms, I feel like all the little projects remaining will keep me busy. We have to get the nursery furniture painted and I'm not particularly excited about that, but the rest of it is so exciting!
Saturday E and I went to the beach with my parents for 4 hours, then he took a good 2.5 hour nap and husband and I ordered pizza and fries take out from a fantastic local place after he went to bed. Sunday, E and I survived grocery shopping (thank you dum-dum lollipop), he took a 3.5 hour nap (HALLELUJAH!), then we went to Freeport (outlet shopping) to visit my husband at work and went to the toy store where Emmett played with their play kitchen/toy train for an hour. Came home and had a nice relaxing evening. My major win is that I really kept my cool all weekend. I mentioned last week that I'm having less patience than I'd like with his tantrums and I really was able to just breathe/smile though the few that he had. I felt like supermom.
Went to my first labor class, got the house cleaned and got our entire basement cleared out, got the hospital bag packed. Weekend loss is that I cannot seem to get my hands on the Oregon trail game yet
We left our 3yo with my in laws on Friday and are kid free for a whole week! Particularly big this weekend since we actually got several errands run (6 stores in 2 hours? no kid, no problem!), finally started some baby prepping, and generally are just enjoying the quiet. And adult TV. And being able to curse out loud. And eating when / where we want.
We successfully moved the boys into their new room and it's awesome. It's a superhero themed room and the paint job came out so great. We still need curtains and a rug and some wall art, but they're in there and now we can start to work on the nursery. The nursery is about 50% done so that still needs some work and I'm trying not to stress out about it. For now, the door will stay closed and we'll just focus on enjoying the boys room.
I managed to wrestle my Snoogle cover back on. It's been out of commission for a few weeks --- I washed the cover and the thought of putting it back on made me want to punch a small child. I can't use it coverless because HELLO DISCHARGE, but I finally worked up the courage to put on the cover this weekend. I'm so much more comfortable with it!

I did that the first couple of times. It was terrible putting that thing back on. Now I just throw the whole thing in the washer/dryer once a week. It takes up almost the whole washer so I wash it alone but it fluffs up nicely, dries in a few minutes and I don't have to wrestle with it to put the cover on.
Thscary - i looked everywhere online and no one seems to have the Oregon trail game yet. I did find Machi Koro at Target on clearance ($15) which is a really fun card game

You guys were so productive. I drove an hour and a half to go to a baptism and didn't have to stop once to go pee. And I finished season one of Broadchurch and watched 3 episodes of season 2. That counts for something, right?!
Took DD to Walmart (and I maintained my cool - a huge win for me) and got most of her back 2 school clothes and supply shopping done. DH and I saw Jason Bourne and are getting better at sexy time without the awkward from baby and belly. I'm sure the awkward will be changing once baby gets here but for now it's getting better. And I shaved! The real win was finding a nice patch of longer leg hair that I'm not hitting as I can't bend with sciatic pain. Hope DH didn't see or feel it
@ahackett1990 we watched an entire movie this weekend and I didn't have to get up to pee once! I was so irrationally proud of myself. I almost wet the bed last night though, when I woke up bursting with baby pressing on my bladder to top it off. You win some you lose some I guess...
@kosmo86 its exclusive to target, but my local store doesn't have it and it can't be ordered online. I have my name and number in with the local target to give me a call when they get it in (which according to their website they already have in stock). So frustrating
Saturday DH and I had a bit of a lazy lie in morning, then he was super gungho to go to the baby stores in town so we wandered around those, and ended up finding an awesome sale on Funky Fluff cloth diapers at a normally very expensive boutique store, so we loaded up on those, which means when my online order comes in we are set for diapers! Then we went to the lake and Lordy, do I ever love swimming right now, it takes such a load off my back. Sunday I did absolutely nothing, and it was glorious. We're housesitting at my moms place right now, and it stays so nice and cool here I might never leave.
I also had sex and I didn't mind it!! It wasn't anything fantastic, and was a bit awkward. I have to re-use this one cause it's so accurate:
I also survived not one, but two baby showers despite the mugginess (one for me and one for a friend) and also found a sweet sweet front-row parking spot at the mall when I went to pick up some Aden + Anais swaddle blankets from Nordstroms. If you've ever tried to go to the Mall of America in the afternoon on Saturday you know this is a big deal!
AND I took a 30 minute nap on SUnday and did 70% of the dirty dishes. As DH said "that's a passing grade! Can't expect anything more than 70% from you here on out!" Love that man!
Took a 2.5mi hike with the dog Saturday morning. Laid around the house for a bit. Showered & shaved. Actually got to use my pool for the 3rd time this summer - and basically floated around for 2hrs without interruption. Worked my 2nd to last shift (until baby arrives) at my part time job Sunday - which required me to be on my feel for 6hrs, and it actually wasn't that terrible (I had two weeks off prior to yesterday), and husband cleaned the house while I was out!
DH treated me to a trip to town by myself... I strolled around Ulta and the grocery store uninterrupted and it was glorious!! The nursery is pretty much done, I am just waiting to see what little random things I get from my baby shower in a couple weeks and then we will be set to go.

hahahaha i love the kitty getting it on, such truth!!!
I went through the closet in the nursery and took everything out. I put all of our diapers and wipes from the baby Q neatly away on the floor in there. I hung what I could of the clothing we got already and put aside whatever doesn't have a hanger / needs to be washed. We don't have furniture or anything yet so I can't fold and put it away. i just need DH to take some things down to the basement. Doing this made the room clear for furniture when we finally buy it after my shower. also, I brought in the glider finally. Yay!
I got a dress from Kohls for my shower on Saturday for less than $10. It was clearance and they gave me extra % off! Deal!
i also found what I think I need to finish the mobile I started ages ago. Need to finish that up soon!

I give you props for MOA period when pregnant. I can bearly tolerate it not pregnant, I get so nauseous. No way am I going to try it pregnant.
Yesterday was a holiday in Ontario so was still my weekend. H and I went into town Saturday and got the final wood we need to finish the bookshelves in the library! He just needs to sand/stain the wood in the middle and make shelves there. Then we buy a tv and carpet and chair and move the love seat in, and voila!! This room attaches to the nursery with French doors, so I want the tv for MOTN feedings down the road..
We got most of our new condo painted, had the floors done, and started moving a few things in. Exhausting but I'm so excited to finally be making progress, I can put up with a week or so of total exhaustion! Plus, I can always play the pregnancy card and take breaks while everyone else is working

DH did our budget meeting for August last night and got the gifts we needed to get purchased. Saturday we spent time with family which was nice.
