Diapers

My husband is having a beer and diaper shower tomorrow. I was just curious about how many size 1 diapers I should expect to use? I've had 2 people send big boxes of 216 size 1 diapers from amazon. So I know have 424... should I keep them or return them for a bigger size?

    You should open one box and leave the rest closed. You will probably be able to return one. But who knows. You may get a peanut who stays in 1's longer than average. You may get a child who poops all the time and makes you change diapers constantly.

    Amazon has a pretty generous return policy for unopened diapers. Keep them until you're sure you won't need them and then exchange them for a bigger size if necessary.

    Keep them. We have a ton of diapers and I just exchange them as needed.

    We got a ton of diapers at our baby Q and our plan is to use as we go and return / exchange whatever we don't need. I've heard most stores are good about that! :)

    even if you don't use the entire case, there are things you can do with your extra unused diapers such as donate to local charity / woman's shelter, trade on diaper swaps (facebook has one in my area), or give some extras to your daycare provider (then they'll keep you in mind when little one runs out for the day and they'll break in to the stash of what they have in stock!).

    You can take back pretty much anything to target without a receipt. I even took back an opened package of Huggies we tried but had a blowout in for full credit.

    My first was a little guy and we were in size 1 for a long time, so I would keep them.  DHs boss sent us some size 2 and a really ugly cardigan/shorts combo and I returned both to Target with no receipt for store credit and got myself some postpartum pjs  :D:D:D I have 1 big box of N and a monthly amazon subscription.
