Fertility Friend and Opk question. Help before I get my hopes up.

i skipped a few days of temping and doing opk because I didn't sleep for 4 days with the exception of 30 minutes here or there. I took one this morning because I finally slept. There was a very dark control line and a visible test line but it was maybe half as dark as the control. Does that count as a positive opk?

    It is supposed to be as dark as the control to be considered positive. I find testing in the late afternoon early evening best for catching the LH surge on OPKs

    Aug 2016 - May 2017  6 IUI's with letrozole - BFN
    April 2017 - laparoscopy to remove mild endo
    June 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU - Cancelled early ovulation, no eggs retrieved. 
    Aug/Sept 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU, cetrotide - 13 eggs retrieved, 11 mature
    5 eggs ICSI'd 6 eggs frozen - 1 day 5 blast transfered, 2 expanded blast frozen - BFP!
    May 2018 - Baby girl born - Our Joy

    TTC #2 since July 2019
    July 2019 - FET - BFN
    Jan 2020 - FET - canceled due to family health issues
    Mar 2020 - FET - low beta - chemical pregnancy
    July 2020 - ICSI'd remaining 6 eggs - 3 fertilized - 2 survived to early blast stage, transfered both - Chemical Pregnancy

    I thought you were supposed to test first thing in the morning?

    My RE had us test in the evening as well for what it's worth. 

    Me 36 DH 34 - Married May 2010
    DX: PCOS/Unexplained Infertility/MTHFR Mutation
    TTC since December 2014
    Fresh Transfer: Gonal, Menopur, Cetrotide. ~ Chemical Pregnancy :(

    HPTs are supposed to be first thing, but OPK's measure LH which gets higher throughout the day. I always find my surges are easiest to catch when I test daily until the strip is at least half as dark as the control then I test more frequently (usually mid afternoon and evening, sometimes midmorning) GL!
