How did your appointment go overall?
Great! Today was my third trimester ultrasound so I got to see lots of baby  <3 The little guy has turned head down and was sucking on his foot. The doctor tried really hard to get a picture but he was totally uncooperative and refused to pose. He weighs 1400g aka 3lb1oz which puts him in the 65th percentile. Head diameter is in the 55th percentile, so seems like I'll be able to pop him out ;)
    Any ultrasound or doppler?
All of the above. Doppler during CTG, ultrasound to check on baby and TV ultrasound to measure cervix.
Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had?
Yes. Baby and placenta are both in the right place and we discussed which hospital I should go to and she gave me a script for the meeting with the midwives at the hospital to make my birth plan - so official!!

How did your appointment go overall? Went well!

Any ultrasound or doppler? Ultrasound- she's in the 27th percentile so we have a petite little girl in there!

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Borderline anemic so I either need to increase my iron intake by food or pills. Going to try food first.

How did your appointment go overall? Short and sweet! Everything looks good and Baby B is head down they think (though of course this could change 1000 times before delivery.).

Any ultrasound or doppler? Doppler 139 BPM. He was trying to hide from us at first and then gave the nurse a swift kick in the Doppler  :)

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Yep! Didn't have many though.

  • Last week's OB Appt.
How far along are you? 27 weeks

How did your appointment go overall? most annoying Appt. ever. I had all 3 kids by myself, waited well over an hour with 3 kids under 5 ... in the tiniest waiting room ever, then when the doctor finally made an appearance he stepped out on a phone call ... I could hear him outside the door talking to customer support for all the viruses on his sons computer, come on do that at home. Then he said I passed my 1hr glucose but I got an email saying I need to see a doctor asap, not miss appts. And that my results were concerning. Hmm mm, so now I need to drive all the way out there to get paperwork to go do the 3 hr test, and I'll pass just like my other 3 pregnancies ..  but no one wants to hear that. And I'm still anemic and should be taking my iron twice a day, but he didn't let me know that last week ugh.

    Any ultrasound or doppler?
Doppler, but I have an anterior placenta and so they also freak me out when they "can't find her heart beat", really I don't need to hear that.
I had an ultrasound today and everything is spot on growth wise, just over 2lbs. She was doing kiss face and smiling.
Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? I've seen 3 ob's, none of which will be my delivering doctor and I really don't have any questions at this point. Baby number 4 and I just want to be told things are healthy, you may go. It's so much of a waste of time, I'm about to just deliver this baby on my own.

    How far along are you?
    30 Weeks today!

How did your appointment go overall?
I would say well, other than getting scolded for my blood sugar being too low after my GTT last appointment... ummm, sorry? I pretty much always have low blood sugar, that's why I'm pretty much always stuffing my face... My nurse didn't say anything about it when I called her about my results afterwards, just said I'd passed. I didn't know. Not like I could do anything about it anyway, we weren't suppose to eat or drink during the test.

    Any ultrasound or doppler?
Doppler, his heartbeat was a steady 153, and he kept kicking it and running away... ornery boy already!

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had?
I didn't really have any, I just let her know my BH contractions are getting stronger and more frequent, but 1 big one every hour or so is pretty normal. I'm on rotation so I won't get to see my actual primary OB until my last appointment before labor.

    For Fun: Favorite TV sitcom?
I have never been too keen on sitcoms.

Edit: because I typed "to" instead of "too" and couldn't handle it.

How did your appointment go overall? Really well. The nurse talked to us for a while as well as the doctor

Any ultrasound or doppler? Ultrasound. Baby girl weighs 4 lbs and had a huge head and long legs. She also likes to show her lady bits off way more than her face. Ugh. But she's head down!

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Yup! All of them. I really only asked about skin to skin and delayed chord clamping and he was on board with both!

For Fun: Favorite TV Sitcom? Friends. I will watch reruns over anything else!

How did your appointment go overall? Good. Had the GTT (don't know results yet.), rhogam shot in the butt, and tdap. so my arms a bit sore ;) I forgot to ask about seeing the breast surgeon so I guess I'm just going to bite the bullet and confirm seeing him.

Any ultrasound or doppler? Had the doppler, Kinzley's HR was 140 today.

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Yes.

    For Fun: Favorite TV Sitcom?
I'd have to say Friends, The Office, or Parks and Rec.

How did your appointment go overall? It went well. Our appointment was with our fetal specialist. The only annoying part was the doctor we usually see wasn't there so we say another doctor with a thick accent. I had to ask the ultrasound tech what he said when he left. We still have to go back every 4 weeks to check the kidneys. He's number went from 5ml and 6ml to 6ml and 7ml. But for some reason that's still not a worry cuz the baby is getting bigger. I kinda understand it but when we reach 10ml it's an issue.

Any ultrasound or doppler?ultrasound. Our little boy was very active it was hard to get all the pictures we needed. But after an hour we finally  got them. He's about 2 lbs 5oz right now and measuring a week ahead in length. So he'll very long like our DS and my DH.

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Yes for the most part

How did your appointment go overall? It went well. Doctor gave me a prescription for a breast pump (yay!) and answered my questions about my anxiety (deal with it, but let her know if it continues postpartum).

Any ultrasound or doppler? Yep, I got to see baby girl and hear her heartbeat. The doctor said she is measuring big, approximately 3 pounds, 6 ounces. Now I'm even more nervous to get the results of my GT test (hopefully I'll know later today).

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Yes, I mentioned a few of my concerns above, but I also had questions about how much water I should be drinking. I feel like most days I'm not getting enough, even though I feel like I'm constantly drinking water. The doctor said to drink 64 ounces a day, which I'm definitely doing. She also said that I wouldn't get my TDAP until after 32 weeks.

    For Fun: Favorite TV Sitcom?
DH and I watch a lot of animated shows, like American Dad and King of the Hill. I'm not sure if Gilmore Girls qualifies as a sitcom, but I'm a superfan.  :)
  • How far along are you? 29 weeks tomorrow

How did your appointment go overall?
I had my glucose test at 8am. I was there until 11am and back for my doctor appt at 1pm, so it was long! I passed my test. Yay for that! Got my rhogam shot and it hurt more than my last 2.  :| And I only have 4 more appts! Eek!

    Any ultrasound or Doppler?
Doppler, still staying in the 140s, completely destroying the theory that girls have higher heart rates. Both of my boys were always 130s-140s too.

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had?
My only concern this time was my weight gain. I've gained 10 frickin pounds since my last visit! Holy poop. But still only 16 overall so I guess it's ok, I just need to keep it in check. Doctor wasn't worried though.

For fun: Favorite TV sitcom? I can't stand laugh tracks so I don't really do sitcoms. I'll watch them occasionally if they're not overly laugh-y.

How did your appointment go overall?
Good and meh. The girls are both chunky at 2lb11oz and 2lb8oz, and healthy! Right amount of fluid for each babies and they are both still head down. He said if they were born now, we would have a 99% chance of survival from here out. So yay for that! But, my cervix is even shorter now and at the bare minimum of what they send you home with. If it gets shorter at our next appointment in 2 weeks, we will have more hospital time.

    Any ultrasound or Doppler?
     Ultrasounds!

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had?
yes, we talked about delivery before 34 weeks and how it would be. He's very attentive which I love. I am secretly hoping we deliver at 33w6d so we can deliver with him and not our OB. She is much less active in vaginal twin births. Healthy babies. That's all I want!

How did your appointment go overall?
Okay. I got put on bed rest. It isn't strict so I can still go to work if I feel okay. She also told me I won't be KU after 9/17 so it's nice to have an end date on site.

    Any ultrasound or doppler?
    Ultrasound.

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had?
I only asked when it would be over and she wants them out no later than 37 weeks.

  • Contractions. I've been in L&D for PTL a few times. Procardia and Terbutaline help stop them, but she thinks WFH might keep them in longer. Goal is 32 and then 34. @sjo_thetwins

  • How far along are you? 30 Weeks 2 Days

How did your appointment go overall? Appointment went well, measuring right on track, but had the Tdap shot the shot was no big deal but boy does my arm hurt now.

Any ultrasound or doppler? Doppler to listen to heartbeat around 150s this appointment, scheduled ultrasound for this Tuesday for growth due to hypothyroidism.

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Answered questions about a weird pain point I get when baby stretches towards my ribs, she said it's highly likely when baby stretches he's going right into a nerve.   We also talked about when to bring in birth plan and making sure all of my future appointments were scheduled.

How did your appointment go overall? Meh.  Not too thrilled.  I flunked my glucose test, so have to do the 3-hour one next week.  Also found out I'm anemic.  And got the Rhogam shot in my ass and my butt is sore now.

Any ultrasound or doppler? Listened to his heartbeat today, but have an ultrasound appointment in a couple of weeks because - eek! - he's measuring ahead!

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? He mostly just gave me a bunch of new concerns today!

How did your appointment go overall?
Pretty good. They are concerned with one of my 2nd trimester screen markers which can coincide (or be a potential indicator of) with slowed growth, so I have to get another ultrasound next week to measure te baby more closely. Doctor doesn't seem too concerned. FX everything looks ok for our little girl.

Passed my glucose tolerance test and got my updated tdap vaccine. Next appointment is in three weeks and the. I'll go to every other week.

    Any ultrasound or doppler?
Doppler. HB strong at 147 bpm

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had?
I always have questions and I feel like only half of them get answered. :( one preliminary doctor asks if I have questions, then she leaves and the other doctor comes in and doesn't bring them up unless I prod them again

    30+4 (appointment was yesterday)

How did your appointment go overall?
Ok... Got the Tdap vaccine which was fine.  My OB said I'm now measuring 2cm small...I was measuring on track until 20 weeks or so and have been about 1cm small since then.  She seemed really confident that it's just because I'm a small person and wasn't worried about a problem with baby, but she ordered a growth scan anyways for our next appointment.  So I'm just the teensiest but concerned but mostly excited to be able to see baby again, I've only had 2 ultrasounds so far and didn't think I'd get another.

    Any ultrasound or doppler?
    Doppler, heartbeat in the 140s.

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had?
Asked about when we know baby's final position.  She was able to feel around and tell us his position right now.

  • How far along are you? 29+1 yesterday at appointment

How did your appointment go overall? Tolerable. It was my three-hour tolerance test. I was told by the nurse who scheduled it that I'd have to stay in the office the entire time, but the lab tech who drew my blood said I could run errands or go home or whatever as long as I was back when she needed the next draw. I don't know if I would have done things differently if I knew that (I live pretty close) but I did decide to stay and probably would have anyway just to avoid worrying about timing. Also they did not have wifi I could use which limited me - but the first hour I mostly dozed off, the second hour I read a little in one of my books and then the baby started kicking like a nut so I just sat there playing with it, and then the third hour I read some of their magazines. I didn't feel sick or anything, not even about getting blood drawn while fasting (which has made me ill before).

    Any ultrasound or doppler? nope

Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? I didn't ask the lab tech questions and didn't see the doctor. I am eagerly waiting my results but realize I shouldn't expect them until Monday!

For Fun: Favorite TV Sitcom? I can't. I just like too many of them. I'm a TV addict.
