16wk appt tomorrow with my ob then schedule my quad screen and level 2 ultrasound. I'm so scared of this quad screen.

16wk appointment with my OB tomorrow...hoping to finally hear the heartbeat (only gotten to see it on the ultrasound so far).

Just had my 16 week appointment! All my blood work came back healthy and my blood pressure was very good. Annoyingly they lost the urine sample from the last appointment... She told me to call on Monday to get the results from the one I submitted today. I've had to pee all the time and it's not the usual "volume" (sorry TMI), so there's a chance I have a UTI, but she said it could also just be pregnancy ha. Fingers crossed!

And the best bit- she used the doppler and found the baby right away

. It's so amazing hearing it when I still don't feel the baby

I have an ultrasound tomorrow!! It will be my second and it's considered the Anatomy scan, although I will only be 17 weeks so I am a bit confused because I thought they were typically at 20 weeks.

My OB is seasoned though so I definitely trust her. She did deliver me after all

Still on the fence about finding out the sex though... I will probably just get them to write it down!

Just got back from the OB a bit ago. Our appointment was at 630. We got there at 615 and still didn't see the dr until around 8. He said everyone is very talkative today.

Baby is doing well. He was moving like crazy. So much that he had to readjust to get the HB. Its like the baby was playing tag with the doppler. So in love.

16 week appointment is tomorrow morning. We will have to leave the house earlier than usual to drop the toddler off at the nannies and get to the appointment. I am currently struggling with really not wanting to shave my legs right now, but know that I should suck it up and get in the shower, even though the doc probably won't even see my legs :-)

So I didn't end up having an anatomy scan it was just a quick dating scan, but I got to see our LO and they were quite active. Saw all 10 fingers and toes. So adorable!!

They will be sure about sex next scan (anatomy scan) at 20 weeks!

We had our 17 week appt and I felt like the doctor really rushed me. That's why I like dealing with the midwives at Kaiser.

I asked her if she could wheel in the portable ultrasound bc my husband really wanted to see the baby. She agreed but she did it so fast the whole ultrasound was like 30seconds. We didn't even quite make out the baby.

Friday rush days I guess
