Hi friends!!
I am on vacation this whole week (wahoo!) so I won't be around much, but I thought I'd get this party started!
How far along are you? EDD?
How are you feeling?

Questions:
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise?

How are you feeling? Feeling great!
R/R/Other: I am a back/side combo sleeper, but have been trying to train myself to sleep only on either side all of first Tri. I feel like I toss and turn from one side to another all night long and side sleeping hurts my hips. Boo. I just want to sleep on my back but I know it's a no-no!
Questions: I am majorly avoiding my registry that I started at like 6 weeks and haven't bought a single baby thing. Am I way behind? I don't know why but I'm totally putting it off.
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise?
I wasn't super consistent first Tri , but was trying to mostly walk and do short prenatal yoga videos. Now that I'm not as tired, I'm making it a goal to walk 30 min a day at LEAST 3x a week and do prenatal videos at least 3x a week as well.

How are you feeling? My boobs have gotten super sore again, and I've having heartburn and acid reflux in the last few days. My hips are also hurting when I wake up in the mornings. I was thinking about getting some type of pillow, but I'm not even sure how/if that would help.
R/R/Other: My husband made a comment last night about how he thought we would be settled in and unpacked in the new house by now, and it's really bothering him that we're not. I know he is insinuating that it's my fault because I really haven't done much of anything beyond the day-to-day bare minimum to keep us afloat, so that made me feel kind of crappy. I'm really hoping my energy picks up so I can be productive again.
Questions:
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise? Nah, lol. The only exercise I really did pre-pregnancy was walking, and I do keep saying I need to get back to walking more. But it has been SO HOT I can't even deal with being outdoors. So maybe in the fall, haha.

How are you feeling? Great! Boobs still sore, though less so. No more queasiness unless I'm realllly hungry. I'm less crabby, even! Pain around my tailbone has continued, and increased heartburn, but so far that's it. And still constipation...but that'll just keep going.
R/R/Other: I'm hungry frequently, and while I'm trying to choose healthy options most of the time, I do have my moments where eating a ton of cheddar rice cakes seems like a brilliant choice
Questions: Anyone else have an anterior placenta? I'm sad that I do!! It doesn't harm the baby at all, or me, but it means I won't feel the baby moving until later than usual
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise? I've already been trying to keep active and walking at least 30 minutes most days, but also going to the gym to do some light strength training to reduce future back pain.

How are you feeling? Pretty good, tired of not sleeping but it's not too bad yet
R/R/Other: Meh. DD still has a lingering cold, DH has an ear infection and I think mine is finally starting to subside. I could seriously punch those jerks who brought us this cold.
Questions: hmm.
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise?
I don't know. I'll probably start walking once it's not so damn hot all the time but honestly I had a hard time gaining weight last pregnancy, I just couldn't put on weight no matter what I did so I'm hesitant to do any kind of calorie burning beyond just existing. We'll see how my weight gain progresses this time. If I seem like I am actually gaining then I'll try some low impact stuff.
How are you feeling? Pretty good! I'm still exhausted all the time, and my back and hips are really sore. I've been trying to make sure I take walking/moving around breaks throughout the day at work. Also - always starving.
R/R/Other: Still. So. Tired.
Questions: None for now!
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise? I kept up with my normal CrossFit routine throughout 1st Tri (for the most part). I didn't go quite as often, usually about 3 days a week when I was doing 5 before. And obviously wasn't working out as hard as I was before. I've also added in more daytime walks while I'm at work, and am planning on starting to do some prenatal yoga videos before bed each night.

How are you feeling? Happy and relieved. See below.
R/R/Other: I have a Wusic at home doppler, and have been able to hear the heartbeat for the last 3 weeks. Yesterday, my dad came to my house and wanted to hear the heartbeat, and I couldn't find it. I tried not to freak, and listened again before I went to bed, and still nothing. I checked before I went to work this morning, and and still couldn't hear anything. So, I panicked. I put an email in to the nurse on call, and she called me and told me to come in right away. She checked me with their doppler for 15 minutes. Still nothing. They got me in with the ultrasound tech. Kitten was okay and has a heartbeat of 156. It was such a relief and I cried and cried and cried. The nurses were so sweet and I am so grateful. I am going to hide my doppler for the rest of my pregnancy.. it stresses me out too much, which is what I was afraid of when I bought it.
Here's a picture of Kitten kicking me today:
Questions: None today!
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise? I want to. I just don't have the drive to right now. There's a yoga studio literally downstairs from my office that offers pre natal yoga on Tuesday nights, and I'd really like to go.

How are you feeling? A little all over the place. Way more emotional suddenly than normal. I had morning sickness resurgence yesterday. In case you were wondering, "could morning sickness happen still 4 months into a pregnancy"
R/R/Other: Just lots of stress going on right now and I feel bad willing this on the baby. Still going through weird tax hell with a lawyer, just bought a house, company is having layoffs... I'm just all over the place. Trying to keep it together, but it's rough.
Questions: I got nothing.
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise? I've been exercising about 3-4 times a week. I do Crossfit 2x a week and then go to a local YMCA 2 times to swim and do cardio at my own pace. Nothing really feels good, not even swimming. Anything high-impact feels like I've got a water balloon strapped to my abdomen. Swimming, the water puts this weird pressure on my bump that I don't really like. Still going to persist though because it's good.
I got my results from the Maternit21 test, and everything came back negative! So relieved. And, there was Y chromosome detected, so we have at least one boy in there. They can't tell if there are two though, so we'll have to wait for a good old fashioned u/s to tell us about the other baby.

And yay on negatives on your Maternit21 test! That's awesome.

How are you feeling? I'm feeling okay. I have a lot of heartburn and my morning sickness has resurfaced. I've been trying to sleep on my sides which is making my hips and back sore.
R/R/Other: I am still at the point where no food sounds good and nothing tastes good which is frustrating because I usually love food and I miss enjoying my meals. And I worry I'm not eating enough.
Questions: None right now.
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise? I was really terrible at exercise before getting KU'd. I like to run races but that's uncomfortable right now. I've been climbing the three flights of stairs at work (multiple times a day) which makes me super out of breath. I'm going to try swimming and possibly get on an elliptical.
@gonetothesea i would have been scared, too! So cool you got an emergency US in to see baby is ok
@canavara sorry to hear abt lingering MS and recent life stress

How are you feeling? Terrible. Mostly it's just because I'm sick and can take nothing to help. Ugh...
But also my gag reflex has gotten out of control. I threw up for the first time last week because I took my vitamins. Also my sickness/drainage is making me gag... and vomit. So, not fun.
R/R/Other: My friend/coworker who is also pregnant is moving jobs. We'll still work together but it so make it that much harder on every one else when I tell, which I've decided is going to be sooner than originally planned. TW: Also... she recently found out is might be a mc. So obviously I feel terrible for her, and don't want to bother her with anything about me if it is. I'm not sure how to help her right now.
Questions: Isn't 2nd tri supposed to be awesome/better? I'm still tired, now sick, actually throwing up and nauseous. I do not like this.
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise? I've mostly been able to exercise all through first tri. About 2 or so times per week plus walking 3 or 4 days for at least 30 minutes. The last two weeks or so I've cut way back though... can't handle the heat. Add soon as I'm not sick I'd like to bump up the exercise if in not going to be out walking. My OB recommended this great prenatal place I'd like to try

Dirty lies about 2nd tri! It's supposed to be all nice and everything and feeling awesome with these really nice milestones (feeling baby move, actual bump, etc). But no. I'm still tired, hips sore, that whole weakened immune system thing really kicking in, plus the minor gag reflex issue now making me vomit.
*Le sigh*
To be fair, my morning sickness pretty much vanished by week 16 but I totally had a barf-fest at the end of last week at 16+5. I still get the occasional out-of-nowhere dry heave at 17+2 but it's a far cry from week 12/13/14/15 and especially from 5/6/7/8/9/10/11.
How far along are you? EDD? 14+1 1/25/17
How are you feeling? Somewhat better, the nausea has become manageable with frequent meals, but now I'm actually having trouble buttoning my pants some days. I'm starting to Bump a little more this week. I'm not dead, I just feel like it.
R/R/Other: Well for the first time in my life I think I got "pauked" too hard. Everything down there aches and last night I swear I could feel my uterus contracting way too much.
Questions: Is anyone else wondering if what they're feeling is gas or baby? It's happened to me twice already.
GTKY - now that many of us are getting more energy back, are you planning on exercising? If so, what do you think will be your fave go-to pregnant exercise? I love swimming and living in Florida with the heat, it won't get colder until early November. I'll actually be at a natural spring this weekend for a family reunion so I'm bringing my suit to that.

Anyway, my dentist actually called me this morning. And was like, "Um, I had to double-check with the hygienist that we had the right charts... I am shocked. Most pregnant women we see, their gums either stay the same or get worse during pregnancy... your gums are suddenly all measuring 3... I have never seen anyone's gums improve during pregnancy. Whatever you're doing, keep it up."
I haven't had all 3s since I was like... 20. I guess getting KU turned me hyper vigilant on gum care because I floss twice daily these days. It was crazy good news to hear given how gross my mouth feels lately
