Anyone else start the patch?

I originally started the pill,but with being so busy I couldn't remember to take the dang thing... so I got on the patch yesterday... I'm having a hard time finding a direct answer on google.. but how long do you wear the patch before it's considered safe?

    What do you mean by "safe"? Before having unprotected sex? I'd give it at least a full cycle. Or call your dr in the morning. He/she should have told you.

    Side note: I was on the patch in high school. I hated that it would leave sticky residue on my skin, as well as rip my pubic hairs out too. And I remember it would fall off during the summers when I'd be in the water a lot
