  Ugh. Yes!!! I had them recurring before pregnancy- the pharmacist literally knows my name after all the perceptions for that & birth control both reoccurring. Then of course when I went in Feb for morning sickness medication she's like "hmm... congrats?" (I laughed- it was getting silly.) 
  
  Anyways. My doc recently prescribed some form of penicillin for this mid-pregnancy uti. For some reason they weren't able to see on my urine sample. It felt a lot better after 2 days of the pills, so honestly I stopped taking them(they are huge and made me barf), and the couple of days that I've felt symptoms since I just take another one and feels better right away. I know, I should probably should just finish the bottle...
  
  It sucks tho! I'm sorry your going thru it. Sounds a lot worse than mine! Hope you feel better soon

  This is exactly why there are antibiotic resistant strains of gonorrhea, tuberculosis, strep, etc. You should 100% finish your dose.

  misuse of antibiotics can lead to bigger and more difficult to fight infections down the road. All you're doing is teaching the bacteria how to evolve to survive against the antibiotics. And a multi-drug resistant UTI is not a fun thing to deal with, especially when pregnant.
