TTC After a Loss

Quick Intro

Hi ladies!  I wanted to quickly introduce myself.  I’m 36, have PCOS, and have been seeing a fertility doctor for a little over a year.  We did our first IUI in May, which resulted in our first BFP.  Sadly, that turned into a CP.   Even though it was a very early loss, I took it really, really hard.  I bled for 5 long weeks and it also took that long for my hCG to return to normal.  Even after the initial bleeding, my hCG continued to go up so I thought the pregnancy might be viable but it wasn’t.  I then feared it might be ectopic and was even prepped for Methotrexate but my numbers finally started going down and that was thankfully ruled out.

I have been counting the days until my hCG would return to normal so we could TTC again.  That day is finally here!  So here I am.  I’m sorry that we are all here but I hope that I can add some support or advice to the group.  I might not have much to add since my loss was so early but I am really good at sending virtual hugs.  :)

I'm glad you are cleared to TTC, and I wish you the best of luck and a short stay on this board!
