Today is mine and DH's 8th wedding anniversary. We went out this past weekend and celebrated and tonight I had just planned on making a regular dinner but then I thought, why can't we celebrate tonight too? So, he's picking up dinner from the Cheesecake Factory. I also made a yellow cake and chocolate icing for dessert. Yes, an entire cake just for him and I.

Omg I want pop tarts now! I love the Nature's Path kinds - they're pretty good!

Also yellow cake + chocolate frosting is the best combo ever. I may make a batch of cupcakes today. Thanks for the inspiration ladies, as always. I may not have appetite for meals but I love me some sweets!

I ate the Oreo dippers out of my hospital bag already. Also, I am debating on the fruit snacks. After that, I plan on spending the rest of my day off ordering stuff we don't need online.

@midwestbaby I ate some last night too and it was the only night that I haven't had heartburn and actually slept pretty well.. Makes no sense.

Also - @midwestbaby the online shopping stuff gets worse during mat leave apparently. I am contemplating on getting a pair of addidas that I probably don't need (I mean, seriously major throwback right here but these things know how to find their way back):

Am I going to wear them? If so, how often? My flip flops have been overworn during pregnancy so what are the chances I'll actually wear these? I'll leave them in my "mind cart" for now and move on

I celebrated hearing that this linebacker child I am growing shows no signs of exit at 38 weeks (not dilated a bit) by eating two fairly large chocolate chip cookies after my OB visit. Happy Tuesday.

So far in my etsy favorite section...this poor kid. I guess I am digging the sparkle/bow explosion today? I did also favorite a shirt that said snuggle this muggle.

DH made a chocolate pie with a saltine cracker crust over the weekend. I may or may not have eaten two pieces every day this week for lunch.... and as soon as DS is down for nap I will probably be finishing it straight out of the pan. #sorrynotsorry

Chocolate cake and frosting are cooling on the counter as I type. I'm a recipe tester for America's Test Kitchen, so I HAD to make it. There may also be salted caramel gelato in the freezer ready to go on top--it was on sale!

I found a brownie sandwich cookie in the back of my cabinet today (we only moved in 2 weeks ago so not as old as you'd think

) and devoured it while DS napped.

@alikay20 yaaaas Queen - treatyoself to some fresh mom kicks!! I got a pair of all white Adidas the other day and the cutest flat espadrilles from the Nordstrom sale because I can't buy regular clothes for myself right now and I need some sensible flats to run around in once baby is here. #momswag

I just dipped a banana in hot fudge and may or may not have taken 2 huge servings of fudge from the jar with a spoon before I was finished.

Sleep. I had DH give Daniel a expressed breast milk bottle at 6 am, i just slept and didn't bother pumping or trying to nurse.

i had some fried platain with sour cream and beans which is a Salvadorean typical breakfast which was so delicious and so far baby girl has been moving so much after my delicious craving

also my job has lots of chocolate chip cookies so I will take some too
