i am struggling to find a bag that is good quality that will act as my "handbag" for the next 2years.. I prefer something that looks less like a diaper bag and more like a nice handbag or tote . Any suggestions?
I am leaning very heavily toward the Skip Hop Special Edition in French Stripe. My daughter has the owl backpacks (tiny and preschool) and suitcase and we love them. Buy Buy Baby has an offer of $25 gift card with $100 Skip Hop purchase right now. This will be for both the newborn and my potty-trained 3.5 year old. I like to grab and go will all essentials at the ready and have something that stays relatively clean (this one is wipe able). I also plan to exclusively pump, so the insulated bottle pockets were a definite plus. With our first I used a cheap bag I grabbed at TJ MAXX and did not like it at all. I always felt like we were rummaging in the bag for something. It was too tight in the center and just not well-designed. We moved on to a 31 tote, which was nice for the pockets around the edges, but the top was open lending itself to spilling out or our daughter emptying the contents (during church services, etc) as she got older.

Hope that helps.
