Anyone experience fading symptoms at 8 weeks? all my nausea and breast tenderness is gone which is really scaring me. I experienced a loss in December with a missed Mc and had no symptoms from the start; I was so excited to feel nauseous this time around but now it's gone and I'm an emotional wreck! we had a us at 7+1 and saw a strong heartbeat, but that was before fading symptoms. I don't know how I can wait 2 weeks from my next scan.

  • Symptoms can come and go! I know this time around, mine came and went MULTIPLE times. As soon as I thought I was done puking my brains out, it came back with a vengeance. I know it's hard not to stress, especially us PGAL moms, but it can be normal. Hugs!

  • I was puking like 5 times a day and haven't in 9 days and am losing my mind. I don't have another scan until 8/2. I'm 11 weeks though not 8
  • I go in a cycle of a few bad days, followed by a couple of GREAT days.
Focus on that strong heartbeat and TRY to stay positive.
PgAL is the biggest mindfuck ever.
  • so hard. mine have come and gone by the day.

I'm in the same boat. Felt "normal" right as I turned 8 weeks, waited a few days and now some symptoms are back, but different. It's rough stuff.
  • My nausea ended around week 10!

Mom of one adorable little boy and excited to do this again.

  • My symptoms seem to cycle as well. Monday and Tuesday I was so nauseous ALL day, Tues-Today I'm a bit nauseous but it comes and goes and isn't close to as bad as Monday or Tuesday. I know it's nerve wracking but I try my best to just enjoy when I'm not feeling nauseous.

  • Just adding to the chorus to say that my symptoms are all over the place. They'll even disappear completely for a few days, only to come back with something completely new. I'm not PGAL and I'm still completely mind-fucked by the 1st trimester, so I really feel for those of you who are going through a whole other level of this. If there's anything I'm learning from pregnancy, it's that my body has the capacity to be so much weirder than I ever knew it could.

  • My nausea completely faded by 8w when had my US. It only lasted from week 5-7. Now I'm just tired and have acne, otherwise no symptoms. The babe had a strong HB of 155 at 8w when I was already experiencing no nausea. My next scan isn't for another week and a half, but I'm not worrying... everyone is different. We should consider ourselves lucky that we don't have more symptoms. Breathe and try to enjoy every moment! Easier said than done, I know!
  • All of my pregnancy symptoms are totally gone and I'm just in the middle of week eight now. It kind of freaks me out. I caught a cold when I was in about the middle of week six, and I've read that a cold can't effect your growing baby, but with how hard I've been coughing, and the tension it's been putting on my stomach doing so, I'm just so nervous.
  • I'm 8 weeks as well and having the same thing occur. No nausea yesterday and had a ton of energy. It's terrifying. I don't remember if my symptoms did this with the first one so I am anxiously awaiting them returning or my next ultrasound (not until 8/11)! It does help a little knowing it's not just me and others' symptoms bounce around.

I'm 9 weeks and had this happen around the start of the 8th week too. Yesterday the nausea struck again, along with the constant need to eat. So, I feel better.
  • Mine eased a bit around week 9, but now are coming and going day to day. I seem to have really good, or really bad days. There is not much in between at the moment.
Rainbow baby Dean is due 2/17/17!
  • *update* thank you to all who replied; you made me feel so much better. I went for a private scan this morning and everything is looking good; hb 167:)!!

    Really glad all is ok!
i had a loss of symtons in week 9 & totally freaked out! We were able to find the heartbeat with the doppler which was reassuring. I had one full week of feeling ok & then the puking & sore boobs returned with a vengence!
  • That's great news! What a relief.
