This is my third pregnancy and found my babies heartbeat today at 8 weeks 4 days! I had three miscarriages before my first baby so this has really helped put my mind at ease throughout my pregnancies! No better sound in the world!!
I don't have one, but I borrowed one from a friend my last pregnancy due to unexplained beating. It saved my sanity! Unless I have another weird bleed, though, I won't be investing in one.
DD1- Aug11 Angel Baby- June13, said goodbye Oct12 DD2- Aug13 DD3- due Feb17
I thought about it in a previous pregnancy but decided it wouldn't help me. If i didn't find it I would worry even though it was probably fine and if I did find it I would still worry.
I have one. I found the HB at 10 weeks with my DD. I couldn't find anything yet with this pregnancy but not freaking out yet because I have a tilted uterus. It did make me feel better with my DD when I was anxious.
I'd be using the crap out of it if I had one, so I don't!
I had two ultrasounds on Friday (different offices). One found a HB of 148, which is completely normal for 7+5 weeks. A few hours later the second office found a HB of 116, which is really low. The odds of me finding a HB with a doppler at 8 weeks is about zero, but it wouldn't keep me from trying or being extra-anxious when I couldn't find it.
I have one from my last pregnancy. It was fun to use and let my son hear his sister heart beat, which he loved. I haven't decided if I will use it this time right away. It's nice having it so I know if I'm feeling worried before movements really start I can pull that out and be reassured.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
I have one and have been trying for the last week or so, but I haven't been able to find baby's HB yet. The doctor found it on our ultrasound and it was 143 wpm so we know it's there and strong. I keep hearing the placenta and my HB, but clearly suck at finding baby's. They say sometimes you can't hear until 10-14 weeks so I'm trying to not get worked up about it. But if I couuuuuld find it, I know it would majorly put my mind at ease!!
I have one, but with DS1 and DS2 didn't let myself use it until 15ish weeks, otherwise I'd freak myself out when I couldn't find it due to just my inability. Plus, I let a friend borrow it when she was pregnant and can't really ask for it back until LO is public knowledge.
I have one that I have used with every pregnancy starting around 9 weeks. Totally depends on body habitus and placenta location how early you can find the heartbeat. I just started to try and was successful yesterday at 9w3d.
I have one from my last pregnancy. I never found the heartbeat now knowing that the baby had passed. I used it several times already with this pregnancy. I first found it at 7 weeks 5 days which is super early. I only heard it for about 30 seconds and it took a long time to find. It's easier to find now at 9 weeks 6 days but there are still days I have a hard time finding and have to put it away and come back later. It makes me feel better having it but I do limit myself to how often I can use it.
Oh that is so awesome! I have one also. I got it late with my first pregnancy. I have no been able to locate the heartbeat with this baby yet. I'm 8 weeks 3 days.. I hope I can find it soon! I'm getting nervous!
I have one and use it everyday! I found the heartbeat the day I got it which was around 8 weeks and 4 days. I am a huge worrier, so having this has helped me relax.
I have the Angelsounds as well and I have already picked up our babies heartbeat. I used it until I could feel movements with my DS the first time around.

My OB said not even to bother with a home doppler until after we hear the HB at my 12-week appointment. She said that even after that, you can miss it at any time if the baby is in a weird position. Her exact words were, "home dopplers are really comforting until they're not." So don't get nervous!!
I found the hb at 8 weeks and a few days but had a hard time at 9 weeks and panicked. I found it again but promised I would put it down and not obsesse over it. So far so good.
Mom of one adorable little boy and excited to do this again.
I just got mine yesterday. After much YouTube watching, I'm pretty sure I found the placenta, but I haven't found the HB yet. I'm going to give it a few days and try again.

Yep that's me too!! But I'm also constipated so I know that my intestines are in the way so it may be a while lol
I FOUND IT!!!! Whew! I've had my doppler since 7 weeks (yes, I know, that is very early and very unlikely to find it then, but after our CP last month I just kept getting nervous we would lose this one too and wanted the reassurance of a doppler...) And FINALLY yesterday, at 11 weeks and 4 days, I tried again on a whim and found it! We've gone through nearly an entire tube of the belly jelly stuff so it's time to buy some aloe vera now for future baby listening :-) Once I found it, I marked my stomach with a pen so I could try to visualize better where it is and know where to start the search next time.
I found the HB! It's still too faint for the doppler to show the count, and I can only hold it for about 30 seconds at a time before something moves and I lose it, but I've now successfully found it twice in the last week!
Dug mine out of the storage bin today and surprised to find HB on the first try! Whoooo hooo. I'm supposedly 9week 2 days, but may be a week behind- either way happy to find that quick little HB.
I got my Doppler in the mail on Thursday. Tried a couple times and found it! I was not expecting to find it the first day. I was 9 &1. I haven't tried to find it since because I'm trying to limit myself, but I recorded it on a video on my phone, so I can listen anytime. my last baby's heart stopped beating around 10.5 weeks. So next week I'll probably listen every day, just to be sure. But I feel sooo much relief already! Now I feel like I can tell people.
We were able to find the heartbeat just before 9 weeks. When the doppler arrived i thought i would be constantly playing with it but ive tried to restrict myself to once or twice a week but its really reassuring to hear it each time. The midwife at my appointment on wed past seemed surprised we found it so early though.
