Breast buds

How to know if they are too swollen?  Is it common for one to be bigger than the other?  Is it normal for them to get bigger around  3 weeks old?   I will probably be calling dr office in the morning just to ask nurse if nothing else but I'm probably just paranoid FTM.

    If my nips are stretching to the point that they would be difficult to latch to and the feel like a bad boob job, I know they are overly full.

    I dunno about the getting bigger part, if you LO is going through a growth spurt or just finished, your breasts probably produced more milk to meet the increase in demand. If that's the case, maybe it would result in your boobs getting larger?

    Oh and my left is a little bigger than the right.

    I didn't notice my baby's breast buds until her two week appointment, and one was definitely bigger and swollen feeling.  My ped said it was normal, but definitely call if you're concerned.  Her's took another couple of weeks to go away.

    DS had them, but they went away after 4 weeks.
