Owlet Plus Additional Monitor

So the hardest part of baby shopping for me has been picking the baby monitor. We never used them with the boys so I have no idea what works best for us and what doesn't. I really want to get an Owlet monitor but I'm not sure if I want to get a video or sound monitor in addition to it. I know everyone seems to go toward the video monitor but I think I would be able to survive with just the sound. Thoughts?

    But I think you're asking if any of us will be having an additional monitor??

    For us, the answer is yes. We will be ordering the Owlet next week and have the Levana Mylo. Once we transition LO to her crib in her nursery, I'll feel better having both and being able to see and speak to her over the baby monitor. The Owlet will be for her vitals. We've carefully purchased high price items from retailers that allow for easy returns, without a limit on time, so if we feel that we don't need the monitor or it sucks, we'll just return it to Costco.

    We already have a nest cam with video and two-way audio, I think we might get the owlet and that. I bet there are people in the recently birthed month clubs who have used the owlet who might be able to answer more questions.

    We bought a snuza because we won't be able to use our angelcare monitor for the first bit and I didn't like the thought of being without any sensor monitors because it went off twice with our daughter. Part of me wishes I had gotten the video version with her as well but I know I would have watched her all the time rather than sleep or get anything done!

    We are going with the snuza and audio only monitors.  He will sleep in our room for awhile so I don't feel the need for video.  Once he transitions to his crib we also have the angel care monitor which gives me peace of mind.  These are the same products with used with DS1 and everything turned out A-ok so why mess with a good thing haha.
